Here in yuba there are no specifically advertised hair cut salons/barbershops for kids but Rob here earns that badge after the care and patience he exhibited for my son. Rob has been in the yuba area for 19 years and exudes a cool and engaging presence. Rob has really got a good business going. I usually get my haircut by my friend in the Bay Area because I don't really like shops cause of all the "noise". I tried a few shops in the local area and this one ended up being my favorite. I like the way the conversations in the shop are always positive and not gossiping bullshit. The sign in log really makes things easier since you don't have to worry about people jumping in ahead of you. I have gotten my haircut by all 3 of the barbers and they are all great. Been going to see Rob and the Raw Cuts team for over 12 years now. I consider Rob a role model in this community and I always look forward to our conversations while I'm in his chair. They do a great job at delivering a professional yet comfortable vibe in the shop. Quick story about how I became a lifelong customer: My uncle who was in the military told me about this place. I didn't know that they were so busy and there is a long wait on the weekends. I tried to go a couple times before work, but ran out of time. I'm not sure if Rob remembered me, but I came a 3rd time, but they had just closed and Rob was sweeping up. He saw me jump out the car, and then be disappointed because they were closed. Most people work 9-5 during the week. Pretty weak to be closed at 4 on Saturday and closed all day Sunday.
