The only drawback with this nail salon is that parking can be limited since it's in the busy downtown Yuba city area.

My birthday pampering was a pedicure. HANNAH did a great job and the leg and foot massage was the best! Nice massage chairs which was a plus! Very clean inside. Givan came out to meet me and directed me to the side of the house facing the main street where he has converted that portion of the home into a full, single-client barber shop with its own glass front entrance. The inside was old-school swanky - and I mean dark wood furnishings, fully-functioning classic leather barbering chair, Sinatra playing on the speakers - swanky. Givan observed all COVID protocols, wearing face shield and mask, and required I keep my mask on until he was ready for the beard trim. He was a consummate professional and honestly gave me one of the best haircuts and beard trims I've ever had. But as an owner and executive myself I would not employ or sub out to anyone that does not hold the shop core values of professionalism. Fabian's behavior was unprofessional and a poor representation of the shop he works for. After missing a single appointment due to a documented family emergency--of which Fabian was notified in advance--I scheduled my next appointment online, paid in advance, and arrived early. Instead of honoring the appointment, Fabian chose to pull me into a public area and reprimand me about the prior missed appointment. Confronting a paying customer in this manner was inappropriate, unnecessary, and unprofessional. This was a first-time occurrence, notice was provided, and the situation should have been handled privately and professionally, if at all. I have consistently paid for services and tipped well above the service cost. Fabian's conduct reflects poorly on his professionalism and, by extension, on Lifestyle Barbershop. I've been coming to the shop now for going on two years. My barber is not only a great barber but a wonderful human being. Not only has he been keeping me fresh, he has also been taking care of my dad who for the first time today had to be shaved bald after a very rough stint with chemotherapy. Arturo treats my dad with respect and is very careful with how he cuts his hair. Whenever he cuts my hair, it's a great way to escape the day that I had or prepare for the day I'm going into. On top of that, he responds very well to anyone who is looking to get a haircut and he is always on time if not much earlier, to meet with you for your appointment. The same can be said for all the people that work here. This is definitely the spot you want to go to if you are just passing through the area or if you've just moved here.
