I've been in grass Valley for the past 11 years and for 7 of those years I drove down the hill to the barber that I was with for 15 years. (I'm kinda picky) When I decided that I was tired of the drive I started shopping around closer to home. Unfortunately I had quite a few bad haircuts. After the third shop that really messed up my haircut I came across Todd's shop. Right when I walked in to his place he made me feel at home. I noticed he had a few young kids as well as a few seniors. Watching Todd interact with both the kids and seniors was totally impressive. He treated everyone with 100% respect and really cared about making them happy and giving them a great cut. 3 years later I'm still coming in to have Todd cut my hair and feel lucky to have came across him. It's really hard to find someone who gives a great haircut, in Todd I've found that guy. No, that is true. I did not ask for anything except a haircut and Todd definitely delivered! I'm a little bougie, and I like this idea that getting a haircut means a degree of pampering, even in a barbershop! Had I asked for a cup of tea or a hot towel, Todd would have done this I'm sure. Todd has a great personality and he listens to his clients wishes and does what I like. After reading some other reviews on Todd's (Todd) I think many people agree he is well suited to his profession by being a professional. By the way, if you are someone who is sensitive to smells and follows your nose, Todd's smells fresh, clean, and inviting. My 14 year old daughter and I agreed, that was the first thing we noticed, the smell of freshness, and for me, a degree of familiarity that I much appreciate. I've been going to Todd's Barber for years now. So much so, I sit in the chair and just start a conversation without telling him what I want... He just knows and nails it every time! Now I have changed a few times over the years, modifying my style a bit, and not once have I been unsatisfied with the outcome. Todd's is usually a day or two wait on an appointment, though he has recently changed things. His now online booking system is fast, easy and you can see any available times. I've just learned of this booking process and on my first attempt, found it to be flawless. A great place and an even better barber. Todd does an amazing job of making your hair look better than you expected. He's also just a genuine guy who'll answer questions and tries his best to make people look and feel their best. Of all my friends who went here once, they never go anywhere else from then on. I started going to Todd in 2020. Todd is fast, friendly, and gives great haircuts. I've sat in lots of barbers chairs and Todd is one of my favorite. Quality of haircuts with some humor to make your day. I'm still going to Todd and now he's a cutting my 3 year-old son's hair too. He was incredibly gentle with him and really knows how to keep kids relaxed to help them get used to clippers and scissors. The cut looked great and lasted a long time.
