Signing up for Raw'Fitness' 6 Week 20 lbs Challenge is the greatest decision I have made in my life. There are other options out there, but they will fall short compared to what Raw offers. The staff, trainers, and other clients are an outstanding support group that you cannot find anywhere else. You get set up with a strict meal plan that works, as well as a strict training regimen that you must participate in. I've attempted many different things to start losing weight, but I always end up just gradually abandoning my goal. I could not have lost 20 lbs all on my own. I have been a client at Raw for a little over 2 years. During that time, I have lost 60 lbs. and completely transformed my body. Now, as a 36 year old mother of two, I am in the best shape of my life, am extremely toned, and percentage body fat is down to 19%. I owe all of this to Raw. Is Raw selective in whom they take on as a client? Absolutely, but that's the point. Only people who are 100% committed and are willing to give 110% effort everyday are allowed in, and that is a good thing. Raw workouts are boot camp oriented. A portion of the exercises are body weight and the rest uses weights for various exercises. The exercises are very different every day so your body never gets used to it. I absolutely love this place!!!! After starting different programs and never getting the results I wanted over and over for many years, I became frustrated and gained even more weight after I stopped trying. At first, I was very skeptical about joining this gym, but I have been here since february and just finished my first six weeks challenge. I have seen an amazing transformation with my body. Great gym with great programs! The best thing about it it's the guaranteed results.. It may be a little expensive but it is completely worth it.. I took part of a 4 week challenge dropping around 12 pounds (from 160 to 148 lbs) so I know it works, you just have to follow the meal plan and be there to give your best! Is it selective? YES of course it is!.. but is only because they want people that can commit themselves to finish the program.. If you are lazy or don't really care about your health and about losing pounds and get in better shape.. then don't even bother.. they will turn you away!!! And for sure it is not just "group pushups" and "aerobics".. workouts consist of perfectly planned HIIT exercises and circuits to make sure you DO get your results. I recently completed the 6 week challenge at RAW! Even though it is an incredibly tough challenge that tests you both physically and mentally I am happy that I became a part of the challenge. In the 6 weeks a was able to lose a total of 24 lbs and have discovered the energy that comes from eating healthy and exercising on a regular basis. Both my fiancee and I joined raw at the same time and I can personally say we have turned our life around from eating incredibly unhealthy to selecting what we eat and how much we eat. I am in the six week challenge and I must say it is hard but rewarding. The trainers are outstanding and encourage you all the way. The meal plan is very strict( if you have no will power this won't work for you). It is a no judgement zone and people of all shapes and ages are there pushing themselves. You are required to pay for the challenge to secure your spot...at the end of the day they have to pay bills to keep the gyms open. A plus to that is, if you complete the challenge with losing 20lbs you get your money back. I call that motivation because I would love my money back lol. If you make excuses or quit easily this is not the place for you. If you want to change your life and have a healthy fitness level I highly recommend this place but, be ready to work hard. I entered their 6 week challenge (-20 lbs). I was a little skeptical at first because they ask you -first thing- to leave a deposit. They tell you they'll give it back to you if you complete the challenge. I did my homework and talked to people who have done the challenge before, went online and researched Octavio Urias. 6 weeks ago I walked into my first class at Raw, scared and not sure what to expect, afraid I wouldn't be able to survive the first class. It was super intense and the hardest 30 minutes of my life. That day changed my life, I had spent the last 12 months dieting and trying to lose weight and managed to lose 50 lbs, but in the 6 weeks I have been at Raw I lost 23.4 pounds. Raw Fitness is an amazing Gym... The trainers make you feel like family. They immediately learn your name and push you every day to be your best. Workouts are 30 minutes long and very high intensity using mostly body weight with a few weights added in... I completed the 6 week body transformation challenge and lost a total of 24lbs!!!
