I have been a patient of Southwest Retina Consultants (SRC) for two years (Aug). I have been very…read morefortunate to have Dr. D. BAHL as my physician. A very caring and professional individual that wants to ensure you get the best advice and care. All the staff from start to finish have been great and it shows on arrival beginning from the front office to the end. If you need Retina assistance ask your primary care doctor to send you to SRC. You will in the long run not regret getting their care. The only drawback is the length of time it takes somedays to go in and out in a very fast time. However, you must always remember that you are not the only person requiring medical attention. All of us have cares that may be quick and others a little longer. I in fact felt the same, but now I understand and do not regret being assisted. Thank you all and especially Dr. BAHL. (Sierra Tower)

I was a patient here for 10 years. I started with DR. Trubowitsch and found him incredible. He…read moreretired a few years ago. I was then passed to three doctors. One was fired, one did not discuss any issues with patients and the third, falsified records after a mishap with a bad eye injection and inappropriate medicine injected into my eye. I had seen him for 2 years but as soon as I was in crisis over his injection, he cut me out. I tried making an appointment with a different Dr. there and the scheduler said that I had "discharged " myself. and would never be able to make an appointment there again. I knew records were falsified when the tech was explaining to me the occurrences around the bad shot incident. None of the record was true about my interactions with this office. They had constructed a complete narrative record to make it appear as if I was difficult or ignored their outreach and I was not. As they read me the details in their records, I kept responding "that never happened." The Dr was present and then walked out of the room, coming back later he said that he left because he was letting the staff argue it out with me. No argument, just a complete falsification of the bad incident occurrences by someone on staff. After this I was told I had discharged myself from the care of this business. I hadn't. I just said I would not again see Dr. Bahl. So now I have no retina care. SInce they are really the Only retina specialists ( several doctors) I must go to ABQ or Tucson for the nearest. Texas has no way to hold these folks responsible, or any complaint will be ignored or worse, falsified to make you look bad. For example when I went for the follow up after the bad shot, (They would not see me for several days after) i waited until 11:30 AM from an 8am appointment. I went to the desk and asked when I might be seen?. How many were still ahead of me? They record asks like this in their computer as a complaint. Then the Dr. said, why did you complain about your wait time? I said I just asked after waiting 3.5 hours. This of course was part of the set up, trying to upset me enough to react badly. I didn't. All in all I am amazed that this is a medical office (and very costly medicine at that). It appears the role of the Office manager is to orchestrate as above rather than respond to patients in a fair/rational manner. You may never have this happen to you there but beware when they make a mistake.

My experience with this business has been nothing short of anything but amazing. The level of…read moredetail and care that the staff and Dr. Foote provide towards their patients are extraordinary. One thing this office does well is provide you the best eye care that best fits the individual, whether it's the news you were expecting to hear or not, they provide you with excellent recommendations ensuring they have done their due diligence on making sure all their numbers and assessments are correct. I just barely started coming to this office as it was recommended by a family friend, and I'm now planning on making this my permanent optometrist. 10/10 would recommend if there was any hesitation on coming here.

This is my lasik experience review…read more I went in on October 1st for an annual eye exam. All staff were very friendly and the cleanliness is great. All patients must wear a mask, all staff are in masks, there is hand sanitizer everywhere, patients must wash hands before being seen, and all equipment is wiped down before using. During my appointment I asked about lasik and was able to speak to someone immediately who went through all procedure options and financial options. They were kind enough to schedule me for an appointment on October 9th. At my appointment I was seen by David who is very friendly and breaks down everything which made me feel at ease. He also informed me they had a special for law enforcement and government which brought my total under $4k. This includes follow-ups for 6 months. My next appointment was on October 12th where they ran all tests again, set me up with CareCredit (0% interest for 18 months!), and I began taking my eye drops. My lasik prosecute was on October 15th. (They have procedures every Thursday of the week). My boyfriend was able to watch the entire procedure and record it from a separate room through a window. David was there and continued to explain everything which is soooo appreciated when you can't see. They send you home with a backpack containing coupons, goggles, and sunglasses. My eyes did sting for a few hours until I fell asleep but it's now the next morning and I came for my follow-up appointment. I'm 20/20 in my right and 20/15 in my left. Vision will continue to improve over 24 hours so they're going to get better throughout the day. But I'm so satisfied I was eager to already write a review. Sun Laser is a wonderful office with knowledgeable doctors and staff members. I am so happy I came here and I will recommend them to all my friends and coworkers moving forward.
