Unfortunately, I hadn't checked it before hitting the road, but no worries -- Columbia is a big enough city, so finding a Chevy dealership shouldn't be a problem. Luckily, I found Hendrick Chevrolet less than a mile from my hotel. I rolled in around 8:00-8:15 Saturday morning (May 16th) to see if they could squeeze me in for an oil change, and they had no problem accommodating me. I was able to drop my car off, head to the basketball tournaments, and come back later to pick it up with zero hassle. Mackie was my service advisor, and he was awesome -- friendly, personable, and made me feel like my car was in good hands. He kept me updated throughout the process and even recommended an engine filter replacement that I genuinely appreciated him pointing out. Overall, excellent customer service and a smooth experience from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend Hendrick Chevrolet whether you're local, passing through town, or just need a quick oil change while traveling. Solid 5 out of 5 stars!

Make the appt for "about an hour" and show up and service tells me 3-5 hours. I planned on an hour, took time off work and had to bring a toddler along (pick up time was right in the middle). Service guy was rude, didn't even know why I was there, then couldn't even reschedule the appt. Told me to leave and call the salesman to reschedule. Asked for a manager and they said they were busy. Isn't it their job to deal with pissed off customers? I could have stayed if they had been honest and I had been prepared to sit for half the day. Giving one star because I can't give less.

I think Brian knew how burned out I was, so he didn't push. At all. I told him that I'd give XXXX dollars for the minivan (Not what was on the windshield!) and his sales manager accepted it. One 45-minute solo test drive later and they were filling out the paperwork. Fast, easy, courteous, and refreshing. Since I was alone on a motorcycle they even had the minivan delivered to my house that evening. I just took it to a shop to have it gone over and the mechanic told me that it is in perfect condition, not one problem. So, yeah, I'm glad I went to Palmetto Wholesale and bought it. After the other dealers, it was a refreshing and happy experience. Back in April purchased a 2005 Cadillac SRX, I decided to go to Palmetto Wholesale due to building…read morea relationship with George Z, soon after purchase we started having issues, and the timing chain went, took it to the garage they recommended and had the timing chain replaced, the cost 1700, of which i paid over $1000.00 they covered the rest, 3 weeks later the SRX threw a rod through the side of the engine! a week and a half later they offered me a 2003 trailblazer EXT, first week driving it the shift linkage fell apart while we were on a family trip to VA, 3 weeks later the drivers side hub assembly went bad and i had it replaced, just after making the 2nd payment on the vehicle, it started running poorly, this time i took it to a garage i know for evaluation,and it has a blown head gasket, and being a 4x4 the repair estimate is around $2700 plus the machining of the head, so now on vehicles and repairs and towing, i have spent 4803.00, and have nothing to drive!
