    2025 Toyota Tacoma SR5
    Jeffrey J.

I was recently doing research on a new 2025 Toyota Tacoma SR5 online and was pricing around. I decided to give this dealership a call on the phone instead of getting attacked as soon as you walk in a dealership. I told them what I was interested in and they asked me to come in but instead of wasting my time I asked them what was the best price they can do on the vehicle I was requesting. They asked me to give them a price and they presented it to the manager and I got a call back a short while later with an offer of exactly the price I asked to walk out the door. I was very pleased with this and it is the first time that I ever did a deal over the phone. The vehicle I purchased was still being built our salesperson was MJ Batchelder she was very attentive and kept in contact our vehicle took about 3 weeks to come in and she called us right away telling us it was ready. I was very pleased with my vehicle and the price I paid for it our salesperson. When it was time to meet with the finance manager Jason Jordan all seemed well until he tried to pressure us I say that word lightly tried to pressure us into a extended warranty. This is not my first rodeo buying a vehicle I know how I know how this works but I heard him out then I told him I appreciated it but no thank you He was a little surprised that I turned down the extended warranty after his presentation with his fancy computer and fancy pen and even through some derogatory comments as 80% of people take it and don't you have health insurance don't really know why he had to bring up if I had health insurance or not maybe he wanted to throw that in I forgot to ask him that question but nevertheless we turn down the extended warranty. When it was time for us to go and see the vehicle like I said I was very pleased with it but was surprised that MJ did not go over the components inside and explain it like other car dealerships have done to us in the past also was surprised that after we left we never got a follow-up call seeing how everything is. Besides those few hiccups and maybe some indigestion everything went well and we were pleased with the cleanliness and transaction of our new vehicle. This review is only based on the sales department and finance department at this point.

Everything was great deal with angel top notch. He worked with us and has a great attitude

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE... Citadel alumni here. Great salesmen (Tom and Chris) only to reel you in to take advantage of you through financing (Lee Gilliam) . Bought a new 2026 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro from these guys. I drove 200 miles to pick it up. They tried to charge me extra for floor mats that were included with the car. Talked me into financing the vehicle and told me on the phone that the interest rate would be 5 or 6% and stuck me with a 7.5% interest rate once I got there. And then told me they would give me a $250 gift card only after I gave them a 5 star review with Toyota. And then Leighton accused me of extortion once I told them I wasn't giving them a good review. They still owe me for the floor mats as I type this review. I'll also be filing with the BBB and SC Consumer Protection Agency. If you bought from these guys in the past I would check your closing statement. Please beware of buying from these guys... do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

It was truly refreshing because he was not pushy and on top of that he listened and got your questions answered promptly. He is the ONLY reason I purchased from this dealership. The not so good - this dealership prides themselves on their 180 point inspection the only problem is that there were things that were found by my husband and I that should have been caught by the service department when they performed this 180 inspection. Things they failed to find: 1) cruise control does not work 2) overhead lights not working 3) vehicle has 150,000 miles on it and they refuse to change the timing belt 4) passenger door lock will not work/lock 5) one of the engine/radiator fans loose 6) clips in several areas in the engine compartment are missing One of the managers was bragging about this inspection BUT if your service department can't repair these items but yet they say they did this inspection you just may want to clean house in the service department because they are really making your dealership look bad. Your saving grace right now is your sales team - especially Shane. If the service dept was doing their job correctly I would have given 5 stars. The 4 stars are for Shane and Shane alone! Again, awesome job Shane you shine in this dealership and they are fortunate to have you

My experience demonstrates how repairs can be misrepresented and ultimately left unaddressed. During the test drive, I identified a mechanical issue and was assured by the seller that it would be corrected. When I returned to pick up the vehicle, I was told the repair had been completed and that the car had been taken to the dealer. Within three weeks, the same issue resurfaced. I later learned the vehicle had never been taken to the dealer; instead, it was sent to a different mechanic. Additionally, the air filter--supposedly replaced to address a smoke odor--had not been changed and was packed with debris. The original problem remained unresolved, and the seller ultimately acknowledged they could not repair it. This situation reflects a pattern of misinformation and inadequate service. Before purchasing a vehicle or selecting a warranty, ask clear, direct questions about the seller's repair capabilities, the mechanics they use, and what repairs are actually covered. Thorough due diligence can prevent costly issues later.

Unfortunately, I hadn't checked it before hitting the road, but no worries -- Columbia is a big enough city, so finding a Chevy dealership shouldn't be a problem. Luckily, I found Hendrick Chevrolet less than a mile from my hotel. I rolled in around 8:00-8:15 Saturday morning (May 16th) to see if they could squeeze me in for an oil change, and they had no problem accommodating me. I was able to drop my car off, head to the basketball tournaments, and come back later to pick it up with zero hassle. Mackie was my service advisor, and he was awesome -- friendly, personable, and made me feel like my car was in good hands. He kept me updated throughout the process and even recommended an engine filter replacement that I genuinely appreciated him pointing out. Overall, excellent customer service and a smooth experience from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend Hendrick Chevrolet whether you're local, passing through town, or just need a quick oil change while traveling. Solid 5 out of 5 stars!

Dropped everything, took it immediately to Jim Hudson Audi service dept. (they had the car before I had it transferred across the street to GMC store & made purchase). Car was VERY low on oil. Oil was topped off. Obviously never checked when they took vehicle in on trade. 2 weeks later took back to Audi service dept as to why MMI dropping so rapidly & was told that vehicle may need a 2 phase OCT (oil compression test) if came back unfavorably- the car would need the pistons changed for an $8500 repair bill. Oh No Thank You!!! 2 days later after asking for dealership to buy car back, used car manager insisted on doing OCT. It was started. Was told to drive it 600 miles by 1 person, 1000 miles by another, & until the oil light comes on by a 3rd person. Quite a difference in range there. A week ago oil light came on. So...After owning car less than 3 months, driving it under 1,700 miles, the oil has been topped off a few times AND the oil light has come on. Took in to have OCT completed in morning 2 days ago. YEP- you guessed it- needs pistons changed. During all of this I told the dealership numerous times that I wanted the car to be bought back. They can deal w/this nightmare. Was told 2 days ago would hear something re:plan of action. Never heard anything. Called & used car manager had not been informed of anything. He was confused as he always is every time I speak with him & get different answers/stories. Again, stated I want car bought back. He said that Audi was paying for repairs. I said no they are not, per our conversation July 8th. He states confusion as to why was OCT done then? Well you tell me. YOU were the one who insisted it be done as you didn't want to purchase the car back. Said he would make calls & lmk what was to happen. Hmmm...nearly 66 hours later, even after emailing internet sales manager & GM yesterday morning, not a peep. Not even to reach out & say hey we hear you, we want to make this right. They do not care. They are ignoring me. They sold a bad car! They know it! Also had previously inquired w/Jim Hudson Ford about a used Sierra. Was given details, price, fee breakdown & asked to schedule time to come see it. Asked if it had a sunroof. They said they would check & also send me pics of truck. Didn't hear anything for a few days. Finally got email stating truck can't be sold to public due to transmission issues. Gee- obviously the Sierra, like the Audi, wasn't checked over either BEFORE listing on internet. After they said the truck couldn't be sold, they reached out a couple weeks later asking if I received the info, was I still interested, & that they have tried to reach me numerous times. Ok. Been communicating thru email whole time. Last time- YOU told me truck wasn't fit for sale to public. Good grief! What does their commercial say? You got it! Experienced them twice & will not forget but not in a positive way at all.

We had already showed them which lights were going on and off along with a speedometer issue, and giving all of the fault codes showing. We were told it would take a few hours and they would let us know. We called at 430pm that day to see what they decided was wrong with the vehicle. We were told that no one had looked at it yet, that it would be the next day instead. On July 15 we were called and told that the issue was sensors. These are the same sensors they had told us a year ago were an issue with a different set of codes and light combination. We had already replaced those sensors. We did not have DSN replace them because they wanted $1300 for parts and labor that we could have done for less than $500. We told them the sensors had already been replaced and that was not the issue. They stated the sensors had gone bad and that they needed to be replaced. We finally agreed to let them replace the sensors, but they then let us know they had to order the parts and it would be at least the 16th before my vehicle would be ready. Late the afternoon of the 16th we received a call to let us know that the sensors had been replaced, but the lights were still coming on. Now they believed the problem to be ABS actuator that needed to be replaced and parts and labor would be at least $1400. They already had us for sensor replacement that had not been needed for $1300. So now they are wanting $2700 to repair the vehicle and they can't guarantee it will be fixed. After much discussion we did finally get them to admit that the sensors had been fine. That one had a lower voltage than usual but that they had not been the problem. However they would not put our original ones back on and that we still owed them for the $1300 unnecessary repair they had already completed. They said they would have to order the other part that was needed and it would be at least 3-5 business days before that part would be received and it was a refurbished part because Nissan no longer makes that part. They were told to put my vehicle back together and I would come and pick it up on Friday morning. On Friday morning I argued again that I should not have to pay for a repair that wasn't necessary, but I wasn't allowed to have my vehicle back until the bill was repaid and they would give me a $150 discount. This discount basically covered the taxes and credit card fees that they pass on to the customer when you pay with your card. I paid the bill so I could have my vehicle back. I did not get the original parts back, I can't even confirm that they actually replaced the sensors that they say they did. I did however order the exact same part that they told me needed to be replaced for $350 and we replaced it ourselves. Magically all the lights are gone, all the codes are cleared and the vehicle is working as it should. So no I would never recommend DSN to anyone. I am out over $1300 for repairs I am not sure they did, can not prove they did, but they did admit were not needed.
