My experience with RayAccess was considerably different from other reviewers. First off, their opaque price estimation process led to them significantly overcharging me for a routine pressure wash. They acknowledged the excessive overcharge, but as a solution offered to not do it again. Say what? Not very impressive. The job itself was also unimpressive. One person sprayed for about an hour while a second person stood around on his phone the entire time, both clearly in a hurry to finish. They carelessly damaged a ring spotlight camera that I ended up having to spend $250 to replace. RayAccess "CEO" Will Brower gave me a half-hearted call to understand what happened, but ended up spending most of the call in defense mode without much listening. He asked for time to speak to his team, promised me a return call but never followed up. An overall poor performance in my book. Needless to say I do not recommend RayAccess. read more

With all the heavy rainfall during the winter of 2022-2023, we had leaks in our living room ceiling, not knowing exactly where the origin was. Our first floor ceiling leaked during the recent heavy rains. The deck company inspected the balcony above the leak and said it wasn't coming from the deck but could not determine the site of the leak. I sent a message via Rayaccess's website and heard from Natalie in two days, via phone AND email AND text. She asked for pictures of the problem to be sent to her, including both floors. She determined the probable problem and we set up an appointment. Here's where the little hiccup occurred. On the day of the 8 am appointment, I waited but no one showed up. I called the office at 9 and left a message, no answer. I texted Natalie at 10 am and she realized she forgot to reschedule me (some jobs went over due to the continuous rains). I told her that would not have been a problem IF someone had notified me. She said it was completely her fault and was very apologetic and scheduled me for early the following week. She texted me the day before the new appointment to confirm. Eduardo and Jose showed up and did the inspection. I was very impressed by how careful they were with wearing shoe covers (what a pain, when you're going in and out of the house) and not bumping into the stairs or rubbing the hose over the deck rail. They explained what they were looking for very clearly. They determined the site of the leak but couldn't fix it, I'll have to find someone else to do that. I was very happy with their service. So my sister needed her gutters cleaned after several years of not having it done. Let me say...Eduardo and Sebastian really did a great job. They are actually the company's leak detection team, but we were lucky enough to have them on our job. There was so much dirt/debris in the gutters that it turned to mud rapidly, spraying down the entire wall. So they ended up power washing the entire home. I hired Ray Access because I have 2 skylights in hard to reach places that needed cleaning. Jonathan and John did a great job cleaning my skylights and windows. Edwardo and Anselmo arrived about two minutes before their scheduled time, ready to rumble. We did a walk- through of the property so they could get an idea of how to attack the gutters. They spent about 3 hours, very busy the whole time. Afterwards Eduardo showed me several defective segments of the gutters that would warrant minor repairs. He explained everything so well. He also showed me several videos he took during the cleaning process that clearly showed that we needed the gutters cleaned. He showed before and after pictures and videos that dramatically and clearly showed the good work they did . He also placed several sheet metal screws in a couple of down spouts to better secure the ground level segments to the upper segments. to prevent them from falling off. . I called a bunch of window places desperate to clean my windows before an open house. I live in a townhouse in Santa Monica surrounded by french doors! LOTS OF WINDOWS that have not been touched since the day I moved in (8 years ago) because I am too cheap to hire someone professionally. I called a bunch of different places and found Sergey to be the most professional and was surprised to find that he was also reasonably priced. He stopped by my house the same day I spoke to him on the phone to check out my windows and provide me with a quote and we scheduled the window cleaning for the following week. Sergey showed up with all of his equipment and was so thorough! He spent 4 hours cleaning my windows meticulously (it should have been half the time because there was supposed to be another guy there to help, but he was stuck at another job). You may receive 5 star service from RayAccess as I did once in 2019, but should the company make mistakes and/or damage your property as they did recently on my second time hiring them, the manager and owner at the company will very likely leave you frustrated with their lack of integrity and customer service. Most importantly, they will likely leave you with the majority of the bill to replace damaged property, even if you jump through all the hoops to clearly communicate the issue and go out of your way to provide photo/video evidence and more. RayAccess management, however, will not be short on useless customer service platitudes, vague reasons they can't accept responsibility, and downright denial that they are capable of such mistakes. Mistakes happen. I can accept that and did when the person handling my account made an assumption that the roof on my home was flat instead of simply asking me - a separate mistake from the damage their technician caused. The consequence of this assumption meant the technicians arrived ill-equipped to do the exterior work which I had blocked off a half day to oversee. I rolled with that issue as disappointing as it was and agreed they could at least complete the interior window washing part of the job. Unfortunately, one of the technicians who normally only does exterior washing was instructed by RayAccess to help the other technician do the interior window cleaning. His inexperience lead to the staining of three brand-new custom roller shades. I do not blame the technician because I believe he wanted to do quality work for me. It's the management and the owner of RayAccess who have earned this single star review for the handling of my claim. After many emails exchanges and hours of my time, Ray Access has only agreed to waive the $200 cleaning fee instead of paying the $770 in damages, without a hint of an apology. All of this, and their rates have increased exponentially since 2019. I thought I was hiring the expensive pros and it would be worth it. What I got instead was one-star worthy service, $570 bill to replace brand-new damaged shades, and a pretty frustrating experience. read more

These guys are PROS! We have an atypical 17ft x 7ft glass ceiling 2 stories-high 12 panes of glass at our residential townhouse that has very difficult access. It was also original from the 80s, so relatively delicate. We needed cleaning and caulking done from the outside. Most other contractors we worked with in the past either didn't want to do the job or they do a terrible job (our caulking looked like crap before) RayAccess's rope crew Mike and Natalie skillfully and professionally got the job done. It was a marvel to watch how they access this difficult job. Later I discovered they were rock climbers. Makes so much sense. The caulking was straight and looked great too. They did miss one of the many seams since it wasn't leaking. Would had been nice if they had done it since the old caulking looks especially terrible next to their new work. They got the job so nicely done that we decided to hire them again to repaint the metal structure/frame from the inside (2 stories high, slanted) since our originally contractor obviously didn't use the right paint as it started to peel after 1 year. Aaron came out and got the job professionally done. He was also very courteous and made sure he covered the job site and didn't damage any fixtures or carpet. Of course I won't know how well the paint will hold up, but I am confident. Their price are reasonable, but the workmanship is just impeccable. read more
