I called to schedule an appointment, they scheduled my appointment, they take all my information, specifically asked for my credit card information to process payment before the services are rendered, ALL of that to call me the day of the appointment few hours before the appointment to cancel. They proceeded to say the mandatory "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" line and without my consent they shared my contact information with other businesses prior to the cancellation. So they knew they were going to cancel beforehand and they didn't have the courtesy to let me know until the last minute. Instead they shared my contact information without my consent. I ordered a deep clean from Mya Cleaning Services and somehow ended up booking a four hour interactive workshop called "So What Do You Want Us To Do Today?" Two women arrived and immediately asked what to clean, how to clean, and possibly why cleaning exists. I was like, wow, bold of me to assume the deep clean came with a plan. At this point I was basically the project manager. They kept calling some guy on dispatch to ask him to translate how to clean and in between they were kind of standing around waiting on me to assign tasks like we were filming a very low budget home makeover show. One of the girls also developed a strong personal interest in my shoe collection. And not in a casual way. More like a documentary level curiosity. "Where did you get those?" "How about those?" "And those?" "How much?" Maam, the only thing that should be getting this kind of attention right now is the cleaning products. The vibe was less deep clean and more slow motion time extension strategy. I had to stick around the entire time to direct everything, which is weird because my whole reason for hiring a cleaning service was to not be the cleaning service. How is it that I ordered a deep clean, paid over $320 and the team seemed surprised by the concept of cleaning? This was a mess. Literally. I wanted my home reset, not a four hour group assignment where I do the lesson plan. I wasn't happy with the experience. I asked my husband to do a walkthrough for the move in cleaning. He wasn't as though as I'd be had I been available, so I blame myself. The space was already very clean, so I suspect the cleaners didn't think I'd open certain things and swipe my finger over surfaces, but I did. Requested a "move in/move out" cleaning and the results were subpar. I was given an arrival window of one hour, cleaners arrived 10 mins after that window. Called, texted, and emailed with no response. If you don't open your service center on Sundays, dont dispatch. Pretty simple. I also never got a follow up to my text or email. Cleaners told me they would be done at 2pm, no calls/text. By 245pm I'm worried and text the cleaner (good thing I got their number). They said they'll be done by 3:30pm, so I head over. Stayed for another 50 mins before they finished. What a waste of my time on Sunday. After the cleaners were done, they asked me to pay but I had already paid through the online portal. When I tried to ask why they said they dont speak english. No instructions provided at all as to whether I needed to pay the cleaners directly or whether the website payment would suffice. Now the cleaning - yes they got most of it, but missed: -Window frames had a layer of dust still -Door frames had a layer of dust still -Light switch case had a layer of dust still -Cabinet doors had layer of dust still I had to clean again. The pricing structure for this company is criminal. They charge $259 flat rate to come to a two bedroom apartment, and did you know this does not actually include any cleaning? They then charge you for the square footage on top of the $259!! What the hell am I paying $259 for then? Just the house call fee? This is an insane pricing structure, a rip off, I cannot believe this company can tell me this over the phone with a straight face. I will never ever ever use this company again. Unfortunately after $700, I'm left incredibly unsatisfied, if not a little angry. I requested an extra deep clean on my two bed and one bath apartment. I even added a few add-ons to make sure the attention went to those certain areas. Based off the results, what I guess I requested was to wipe down everything but put everything back as haphazardly as possible. It's been 6 hours since they left and I'm still putting everything back where things were. Worse yet, I'm having to clean somethings again because for some reason, they put clearly labeled soiled pet towels with the people cloth napkins. I found pieces of my plants torn apart or what appeared to be knocked over and then randomly stuffed back into other plants. I found individually wrapped cookies that were on the kitchen counter in a gift box, removed from the box and on to the top of the dog crate amongst the dog stuff. The dish drying rack tray was both facing the wrong direction and upside down (spout facing away from the sink). A piece of the window blind (an extra cost) was buried beneath a basket of dog toys. The couch cushions were put in backwards. The eating utensils drawer had everything back to front, then right to left and whatever else stuffed on top. Books that were in one location, relocated in another and in a sloppy pile. The bathroom rug move to the office on a pile of other stuff. I haven't even looked in every room yet. I really feel like I paid $700 for someone to come over to take everything out, do a cursory wipe down and then stuff it back in, wherever it fits. I get if everything is not perfectly back in its place. I understand that if you are doing a deep clean that you remove items to clean. But some of the stuff genuinely just looks like it was shoved back in, like if you had guests over in short notice and you just needed to tuck things away where ever there was room. Perhaps deep cleaning is reserved for those who are about to move in or after people move out when there is nothing to put back. I'm deeply disappointed since I had a pretty good experience a few years ago with Mya Cleaning. Needless to say, I won't be using them again. PS. I already tipped when I book, so there is that too. read more

The people were super friendly, but deep cleaning isn't a "deep clean." it's pricey to have someone just do a wipe down. They cleaned outside and behind my stove, which was rough. I moved into an apartment that didn't clean the oven. They did fine there but didn't wipe down the fridge. They also cleaned my bathroom, which wasn't a "deep clean." The same dust is still there (above the shower). I work from home, so I didn't get to do a final walk-through. Otherwise, I would've said something. Don't book a deep clean to save money; do a walk-through! It looks like the same concers are constantly brought up in the reviews. read more
