Had a very good experience at kohls tonight. It was tax free weekend and I was dreading shopping…read morebecause I thought it would be mayhem. Kohls had planned and organized well. They had plenty of staff on hand. And for 8 pm at night the store displays looked nice and organized. I was offered help several times. I ended up getting all my kids school clothes. Two pairs of shoes for each kid, underwear, socks, jeans, sweatshirts, pajamas and even a disco light. I had two carts full. Was scared the girl at the register would groan with disgust at all my stuff but she was chipper and enjoyed the challenge. Another employee came over and even helped bag. Another employee went and did a sku check when a shirt was missing a tag. I spent $1100 and had a coupon and a 20% off coupon. So my total was $870. I got $170 in kohls cash to spend next time. The service was there tonight and the employees were in good spirit.

Went to the store the other day instead of buying online as I needed a new outfit. I walked in with an oversized hoodie and jeans on that had a tare in the knee and dry paint on them and spackles of paint on my hands that I didn't get off. They didn't treat me any different than the ones that were way more presentable. As I let her know what I was looking for she got me the right size without asking I use to be a 44 and down to a 31 in jeans. As I was trying on multiple jeans that I wanted again without telling her she found me multiple shirts that fit my liking. I walked out spending more then I wanted but again felt like I was the same as anyone else walking in the store as someone getting ready to go shopping at Walmart.

Then their are the few that follow your every move through the store and take suggestive selling to a whole other level. I went in a month or so ago to get some tops and jeans for my upcoming trip to Vegas, and thats when I had the best experience at this store. I worked with Kadie...who was super friendly and actually listened to what I was looking for. She pieced several outfits out for me, but wasn't overly pushy. Then a couple weeks later in the mail, I received a thank-you note. That alone will make me go back, and I'll request Kadie every time. I almost threw in the towel on this store, but its amazing how one person can change your whole perception.

I can't say too much about the actual rental process or ordering process quite yet, but we had a…read morefantastic time doing a fitting and preliminary order at Men's Warehouse the other day. The first employee we worked with was particularly friendly. When we were clearly a bit confused about what we wanted or had in mind, he was happy to show us some of the options - and quite patient as well. He was very honest about their options - pointing out the various differences and why you'd want to splurge for various things. After he passed us to another employee for the fitting and sizing, the new employee was just as friendly. She seemed particularly knowledgeable about men's fashion - including how to tell if a jacket or shirt is particularly well-fitting. She offered brand options to help with fit, and she went out of her way to call up to corporate to a get rush on a preliminary suit for fitting purposes. The earlier employee had also misquoted us a price, but she was happy to give us the item for the price because it was their error. She was very friendly, made the process feel particularly smooth (even though it took about an hour), and was clearly knowledgeable about everything they sell. As a sidenote, Men's Warehouse does make it pretty easy to use them for tux rental. You can pick up or return the clothing to any of their Men's Warehouse locations.

Although they don't carry maternity and lack a quality plus size assortment. If your prego or chunky (like me) you will have to go online. I find a nice assortment for my kids here. I find some great deals on clearance (bought 97 cent clearance boxers for my 11 year old today). I recommend trying on clothes before leaving the store because I find they typically run small. Like most stores they lack staff so you get very little interaction while shopping. But I'm not typically one to need help. Just noting that during my visit tonight no one offered any greeting or assistance while I shopped with my boys. The associate at the register was very friendly and efficient. I was overall satisfied with my visit and what I purchased.

Such a cute and unassuming shop in downtown Cedar Falls! I almost walked by it because at first…read moreglance at the sign and everything, I couldn't register what this store was about. I looked into the window though and saw so many unique clothing pieces and decided to pop in! This clothing boutique is definitely filled to the brim with gorgeous and cute everyday to more business/formal wear kind of clothing in addition to wigs and other hair accessories. 75% of the store is clothing though with the back 25% past the fitting rooms reserved for hair goodies. There were so many wonderful pieces that I tried on here. Unfortunately, their sizing only goes up to XL and sometimes only L and I'm right at the edge of that, so some pieces fit, while many I wanted to try on I needed just another size up. Customer service was so lovely. The woman who was running the shop was shuttling clothes that I had pulled off the rack into my fitting room throughout my shop and was just so friendly and exuberant, while also giving me the space to shop and peruse at my own pace. I ended up getting a staple kind of black/gray denim button up shirt that will be great for the fall and spring weather and for layering throughout the colder months! I also got two sweaters that had a fun corgi print on them to gift to my corgi-loving friends! The pricing was reasonable here compared to what I normally associate with boutiques as well (these sweaters/denim jackets all averaged in the $40-50 range), so I really appreciated that. You'll get coupons when you make purchases here as well, so make sure to do that! Really loved this spot!

The jewelry is a lot of fun, and they also carry OPI nail polish. I was able to buy Golden Girls earrings...how awesome is that? Staff is super friendly. They also have wigs and extension available. I go to Charity, who has a chair in the back of the store. She does an awesome job on hair, and shes a delight to talk to. Whenever I go get my hair done I come a little early so I can shop at LBL. :)
