All depends on the work one needs done. For low prices and speed this company is good. For "grunt" work, like clearing and tree removal, they are fine. Don't expect this company to understand or react to specialized needs, like preservation of trees, shaping or restorative pruning that a certified, experienced arborist would do. Their work is done fast, which means limbs dropped directly onto grass areas, shrubs, flowers, etc. Rather than saw dropped wood into smaller pieces and cart to the truck, they will want to use a tracked machine and drag. If you are planning on renovating an area later, that's fine. New soil can be brought in to cover ruts, etc. If not OK with this, let them know up front. They show up on time, do a good job cleaning up, and do the work they say they'll do. One gets what one pays for. read more

Tree removal completed at house behind mine. Neighbors specifically indicated to the tree service to keep all debris off my property as my garden was on the other side of fence where tree removal was occurring. I came home in utter disbelief as my garden was flattened, tomato cages crushed, and many of my plants ruined as many MANY large branches were carelessly thrown on it. These guys are amazing. They work fast, price beats all others, and they clean up. I had them take down 25 trees which they thought might take 2 days, they were done in 1. I also hired them to take down trees at my mom's house and she was equally happy. I'd give them a 1 but they never showed up so I can't even grade their work. Called them to get an estimate for pine tree removal. The Pines are already cut down I jut needed them chipped/removed. They gave me an estimate which was fair and told me they'd come fri. I took off from work and waited, and waited, and waited until finally at 3:15pm I text them and I got "with the bad weather coming I pulled my guys to take down danger trees elsewhere; I'll try to get to you next week". Then no contact. I text them and got "who is this"? Needless to say I had a terrible experience. We had tree branches above a pool that needed to be trimmed back - not only did they bring the branches down correctly and fully clean the yard, they swept the pool deck and even skimmed the few leaves that fell int the pool. Well to make a long story short,I received an estimate from a tree service located in Sayville- after that, they did a no show and never returned any of my phone calls, after I agreed to their terms-its a mystery.Another tree service from Bayshore never showed up[based on their given time] to give me an estimate.The Raymond Brothers did just the opposite,I called them, Jessie gave me an appointed time for an estimate,unfortunately he was running a little late and did the unthinkable-he called to let me know he was going to be 20 minutes late-I like this gentleman already.We agreed on his estimate which was better than I expected and lower than the no-show from Sayville-it gets better.Watching Jessie and his professional crew was very impressive to say the least.They did a first rate job at an incredible pace.Neat,organized,extremely competent and careful does not even begin to describe the job they did, to a difficult challenge of removing a large tree located very close to a structure.Thank you Andy L read more

The first time they came to give us an estimate to remove some of the trees in our backyard they were very nice and we told them that we want them to do the work and they never showed up for the job or call so we tried reaching them more than four times and we couldn't get any call back. Finally when we got the call back from them the guy was such a lier and said that they were away for two weeks and he needs to service his equipment! Fine we said will give it one more chance and we scheduled the date for the work to be done! And guess what? They didn't show up and I had to take the day off from work no call from them or nothing. They are absolutely a disgrace to their profession.
