Awesome! - [ ] Therapists care about me at Kort. As long as I show improvement, they want to stay and cheer me on. - [ ] We constantly meet goals and make new ones! Over and over. - [ ] I always know when they are going to be here. - [ ] Diligent on working with insurance to make sure visits get covered. - [ ] We do skills/tests and compare with previous times. It not only helps justify to insurance but me as well to remind me how far I have come. - [ ] POC is never boring. Always finding new ways to exercise or incorporate them into my daily routine. - [ ] Whenever I had pain from a visit they would help me through it and we would be back at it again in no time. Therapy didn't give up on me, they empowered me! I never imagined how far I could progress. - [ ] My endurance has quadrupled. I can clean the counters off in the kitchen. I can make meatloaf and tortellini! I think there are at least eight doctors that are in this practice with a variety of orthopedic specialties. Additionally there's an excellent group of x-ray technicians that very capably take your needed x-rays at the time of your doctor appointment. They are instantly ready to be viewed by your doctor. The patient alone is escorted in for x-rays and then returned to the waiting room for anyone that may be accompanying you to your doctor appointment. There are a variety of chairs in the waiting room including some tall seats to make all patients comfortable while waiting for your appointment. The front office staff are quite efficient and if you do the pre-registration on your cell phone prior to your appointment you will only have one page to sign. You may be caught off guard when you walk in and see so many patients waiting but don't panic. There is more than one doctor seeing them all and some are there just to get an injection that doesn't take much of the doctor's time. I can't exclaim enough with how happy I am with this practice and specifically with my physician Dr. Reid Brown. If you need a Knee Replacement, Hip Replacement or Pelvic surgery he is the one to see! In my case after having an MRI my Knee and Hip Orthopedic Doctor referred me to Baptist Pain Management. After a review of those results PA Shauna Wright recommended back relief with a spinal injection. Since I have upper back problems and lower back problems I got to choose which area was my first choice to relieve. I opted for the lower back relief since it remains at a major disabling level. Almost a year ago I was scheduled for an SI Injection by Dr Bauer at the Baptist Eastpoint Surgical Center. Prior to the initial procedure I had a variety of questions come up between my office visit and the surgical procedure. I was able to message Dr Bauer and she immediately answered ALL my questions and put me at ease. On the day of the procedure I got to meet this doctot who is extremely knowledgeable about her area of expertise, caring, competent and has a CALMING bedside manner. I got the two SI injections by Dr Bauer and since I opted to have the procedure with no premedication or sedation I was released to go home about fifteen minutes after getting to recovery. This procedure was a true relief to what had become continual outrageous pain. The relief lasted six months which was longer than relief was predicted. So before we were to travel for the winter holidays I scheduled another appointment with my Pain Management PA. While at that appointment the PA contacted Dr Bauer on my behalf. Dr Bauer was due to start maternity leave shortly. As the caring doctor that she is she agreed to fit my SI injection in as an office visit since I require no premeds or sedation. Once again I experienced wonderful results. Today , five months later I received my pair of SI injections. Dr Bauer and assistants can't be thanked enough for their caring, and professional treatment. I wish I could give you ten stars because five is certainly not enough.

My doctor recommend an option for Physical Therapy to ease back into exercise and to make sure that I protected my repair since it can take almost a year to fully heal. I was recommend to this location by a friend of mine who had a similar injury. When I initially called Dunn and Associates I was greeted by a receptionist that was very friendly but not informative. I kept asking questions like what to expect, what to wear, and how much my insurance would cover for the service. Even though I gave my insurance information over the phone and describe my reasons for physical therapy, I was told that all information would be addressed in my initial consultation. When I arrived for my initial consultation I was told it was actually my first therapy visit and I would have to pay my copay. I was extremely put off by this, because I made the appointment before work and was dressed in a skirt and office jacket. I was not prepared to pay or participate in a session. I even commented to receptionist that when I made the reservation over the phone she should have instructed me on what to bring and that money would be due. It was not that I didn't expect a cost, but I would have like to known the price so I could save my money or even postpone my first appointment so I could pay at time of service if the amount would have been substantial. I have had two physical therapy sessions so far. Most of the therapy is related to Pilates and protecting the core. I receive very detailed instructions and handouts for me to practice moves at home. They constantly ask me to have weights and a small ball at home, but I keep telling them they should offer this as apart of their rehab service since it is required for my at home therapy routine. I have seen some improvements with movements and think that the therapy is really helping me in getting back to shape. I am still bothered that this office just seems generally disorganized when I arrive and on communicating what is expected about the therapy process. I could not imagine being older and not understanding what was needed to get the best results from my therapy. I am happy with the Physical Therapist I have, but feel like all the non medical staff needs to learn more about the business to have better customer service. I did multiple tours overseas for the United States military which I have had so many reconstructive surgeries and also a work related incident that I fell over 30 feet and had to have yet another surgery I received a dismissal letter when I returned from out of state for work stating he's not going to help me and I am not a patient anymore I did not receive a phone call. I did not receive any type of text no email no verbal warning no written warning no counseling nothing I notified his office of my absence for work due to the severe weather like tornadoes, flooding that we had in the months of march and April I even spoke with him in person when I saw him at my last appointment passing in the hallway and lamborn replied, just notify the office and you will be fine I have spoke with other patients in the waiting room and they have missed upwards of 5 to 6 random drug appointments and still are patience I have talked to people that have failed multiple drug tests and still are patient He is still treating. I have not failed a drug test or had any illegal substance in my system. He also falsely accuse me of running out of medicine early on the notice I received when I had to have oral surgery and he increased my dosage which In turn makes you run out sooner He clearly does not care about his patience.
