I think there are at least eight doctors that are in this practice with a variety of orthopedic specialties. Additionally there's an excellent group of x-ray technicians that very capably take your needed x-rays at the time of your doctor appointment. They are instantly ready to be viewed by your doctor. The patient alone is escorted in for x-rays and then returned to the waiting room for anyone that may be accompanying you to your doctor appointment. There are a variety of chairs in the waiting room including some tall seats to make all patients comfortable while waiting for your appointment. The front office staff are quite efficient and if you do the pre-registration on your cell phone prior to your appointment you will only have one page to sign. You may be caught off guard when you walk in and see so many patients waiting but don't panic. There is more than one doctor seeing them all and some are there just to get an injection that doesn't take much of the doctor's time. I can't exclaim enough with how happy I am with this practice and specifically with my physician Dr. Reid Brown. If you need a Knee Replacement, Hip Replacement or Pelvic surgery he is the one to see! Five stars all the way from start to finish when other doctor's did not think there was an option for my condition.

While having a pt who worked with 2 to 3 patients at a time worked great for me previously, I was not making progress bending or straightening my knee. I ended up having 3 manipulations and was scheduled for a 2nd surgery to put in a smaller knee. I was in tremendous pain and completely stressed out because of my limited ability and lack of improvement. My daughter started doing research and found Focus Physical Therapy and made an appt for me. With only a slight bit of hope, we met with Renee. After discussing my history and her assessing my knee and leg, she said she could help me. And she did. I now have full use of my leg and can bend to 120 and can straighten my leg to a 3 or 4 (my ortho dr was hoping I could get to 95 or 100 degrees). Since my knee, I had surgery on my shoulder (bicep and 2 rotator cuff tears). Of course I went back to Focus Physical Therapy. I am almost at my goal and now have full use of my shoulder- without pain. I am so grateful to Renee and the wonderful folks at Focus. My life is totally different than what it would have been, if we hadn't made that call. They are the best!

I was finally able to make it out to one of their locations and get a free consultation. It was so helpful because they learned more about me. They understood who I was. They were able to provide, good therapy in the space as well as exercises and videos that I've continued to use moving forward. I signed up for a five session package with Renee who is an incredible physical therapist and an incredible human. I really enjoyed our conversations and her willingness to help. She did dry needling for me which really helped relieve the pain and discomfort. It was truly a game changer. I also really appreciated that every time I was shown an exercise I was sent a video that was personal for me to help with my discomfort. It has truly helped me better my health and my posture and I'm so thankful for Focus PT.

I had waited way too long and was at the point I couldn't even pick up a utensil with my right hand. He immediately arranged to have a test run on my hand nerves and scheduled me right away for surgery. The surgery was a complete success and didn't even leave a scar. Now that I am suffering from Carpal Tunnel in my left hand I knew exactly who to see. I met with Dr Blackburn this past week and opted to wait until January for the surgery. In the meantime he gave me an injection that has really helped. It's not the long term solution but I know Carpal Tunnel surgery on my left hand by Dr Blackburn will do the trick. In 2016 I was seeing Dr Blackburn for a ganglion cyst in my right wrist. It was small BUT where it…read morewas located caused me a lot of grief - especially when exercising. He took a minimally invasive approach first (as he's supposed to) by giving me a steroid shot to minimize the cyst - it was too small to drain. Fast forward several months later, where a freak thing happened. My EPL - which is the tendon that controls flexion and extension of the thumb, just ruptured! This happened while I was out of town, which FREAKED me out! I called and left a VM at the office (happened at like 10pm), and Dr Blackburn called me first thing in the morning. He told me how to patch up my hand to stabilize my thumb, and got me an appointment to see him the day after I returned from my trip. He did a thorough assessment and told me I needed surgery. He said the sooner I did it the better, but it was okay to get my affairs in order first. I scheduled the surgery for 2 weeks later. Also, he was kind enough to remove the troublesome wrist cyst while he was in there fixing my thumb since I asked. I got a 2 for 1 surgery deal He made it clear that surgery is the easy part. The hard part was up to me to be compliant and go to physical therapy and do my home exercises. Because of my age he repaired my tendon pretty damn tight - it took about 3 months of physical therapy with one of his preferred therapists as well as wrist stretches I do to this day to keep things good. (I do yoga and such FYI) Because of my compliance with PT and the success of his surgery, I regained about 95-100% use of my hand. This is my dominant hand, so this is HUGE. I was fully discharged from his care at the 6mo mark, and he did tell me it will take about 12-18 months before I go back to lifting as heavy as I did for an hour straight (but he also said anyone lifting for an hour would get tired) I am so grateful for the surgery and after care being a success, because the thought of not having my dominant hand is pretty devastating. Anytime anyone says they need hand surgery, I always tell them to check out Blackburn with Louisville Arm and Hand. I finished the last one yesterday morning and have had zero pain after these strenuous hikes. My longest was 3 miles. I couldn't not have done this without Dr Clegg and his wonderful team. He also gave me pre-surgery exercises and post surgical exercises that are a must for success. I am now on a kneeling program which is going great and plan on paddle boarding by next weekend. I am so very thankful my friend referred me to Dr Clegg. Anyone who complains about their knee pain I tell them of Dr Clegg and what a phenomenal experience I had. I had a partial knee replacement done 7 years ago by another doctor and it popped out of place constantly and I just thought I would have to live with it the rest of my life. I am in constant significant back pain with a herniated disc, and I was referred to Dr. Vermuri to get an epidural injection ASAP. Meeting with Dr. Vermuri went fine and he said to schedule an epidural with his staff. I was told by his staff when checking out that I would hear back from the scheduling person within one to two days. After three days I called to find out when my epidural was scheduled for since I had not heard anything. I was told by someone named Amy that it is typically a week or more before an appointment can even be scheduled, and that they were currently running three weeks out AFTER you were scheduled. When I asked why in the world it takes a week to even get a procedure scheduled, I was told "the only person that schedules epidurals is Heidi, and she can take a week or more to schedule a procedure since she multitasks like the rest of us and has many other duties beside scheduling." So, I am in constant stabbing pain and at the mercy of a single multitasking "when she can get around to it" scheduler to even get on the books. That is one star. Appalling.
