It's absolutely worth the extra cost to have someone do both parts of a job rather than trying to coordinate between two different companies. Zach was ready to schedule the job right away as well. I now have a clean new fence in my backyard. I didn't like how one of the trees was cut back, and to make sure I was completely satisfied, Zach sent one of his guys back to do a little more. My neighbors have also hired him since - one to fill in two spaces with cement and the other to fence in her front yard. Both have been completed and look really nice. We updated three areas in our yard. Walkway/Fire Pit We added a paved walkway to our new fire-pit space. I can see the team (yes team- at one time I saw at least 5 members working) taking the time to do it right. Measuring .... Making sure the fire-pit was level.... Making sure the grass had seeds to repair the area. I absolutely love having s'mores night. Chicken coop border beautification- Our newly erected chicken coop area needed some work to "finish" the space. John and his team created a border and filled it with stone. He was also able to help us with sand and dirt for the ladies. Love the way the area looks. Nap nook We had an area that was an eye sore with a ton of stuff. John and his team cleared (moved the bricks and stones) the area and helped make it cozy for a nice afternoon nap. The border and the small stones help finish the area we ignored for years. They cost a little more than I was initially going to pay but it wasn't an easy job in horrible heat so what we paid was more than reasonable. They did an amazing job, we're so pleased they cleaned everything up, so no more nasty ivy. Jon quickly replied to our request for an estimate, and was kind enough to operate using a design we had provided. Of all the estimates we received, Jon's was the most reasonable, and he was willing to quote several details we ended up holding off on for the time being. (Of course, with how awesome the space looks, we'll probably be asking them back out to install them now!) I had to finally tell them to stop. Their attempt at remediation was to put them down some top soil and grass seed. No straw, not enough top soil, not enough care. Everything got washed away the next time it rained. The ruts remain and were bare until weeds grew in. I called them repeatedly to fix the lawn and they have ignored my phone calls and attempts to contact them online. I was quoted $2500 to fix the lawn. And I have filed a BBB complaint in the meantime.
