Paid all the $ for testing to find I was fine, hormones were just outta whack, which I had mentioned to her I thought was going on.... Find a doctor willing to have discussions with you & not just get you in/out & take as much $ as possible!

This doctor has a very respectable reputation in the area. While he is certainly very experienced,…read morethe quality of both of my office visits left a lot to be desired. The first time, the office had not received the referral from my PCM and let me sit in the waiting room for over an hour instead of just telling me they didn't have the referral. Once I realized it, I called my PCM and had the matter settled quickly. When I finally DID see the doctor, I was in there for about five minutes, and my ultrasound (even though I was at 23 weeks) only lasted about a minute, if that much. I did not get to hear the heartbeat, nor did I receive any type of cervical exam, even though I delivered my first child at 25 weeks. On my second visit, I waited over two hours and saw the dr for three minutes, tops. He told me nothing other than my bloodwork was normal and even told me that I wouldn't need an ultrasound at 25 weeks - around the same time I went into labor last time. Thank God my first child was born at a Naval Hospital in San Diego....I received comprehensive care and people took the TIME to make sure my baby and I were ok. NOT THE CASE HERE. Very disappointed. I'm glad we're moving back to a base where we can receive good, quality care. I'm quite certain his office billed me for more than just a five and three minute visit.

Anytime I've gone I've…read morewaited at least two hours to be seen and once I am finally back majority of my questions go unanswered or I feel rushed by the providers. Then we have todays incident, I called to verify my annual exam appointment that has been scheduled since last year and the receptionist confirmed, not even 10mins later I get a call stating that the provider I see is no longer with the practice and I would need to reschedule however they wouldn't be able to see me for another year. A few hours later I am called to confirm my appointment and I had to remind the receptionist that they cancelled me. If you are really seeking care I would look anywhere but here.

After an hour went by, I checked with a nurse and she said it would be at least another 30 minutes. They said they were unable to refill my medication because they hadn't seen me in a year and that was because they canceled several appointments Dr. Fanous is nice but good luck trying to actually see him. His office staff is not professional and the restroom was unkempt. If he had seen me in August when my appointment was supposed to be, he could have diagnosed me and started treatment.

I'm a first time young mom so I had a lot of questions that I didn't trust google to answer and they were always very kind when answering them for me. Every time I called they answered. Dr. Van Riper was open about every procedure down to my delivery and it really put me at ease. I was an induction and he made it a point to come at 10 o'clock at night to check my catheter. Something the nurses could have done but he wanted to see how we were doing. If I could recommend anyone it would be him and his staff. And his head nurse Marie is the absolute best and my favorite. My husband and I will never go through a pregnancy without them. Thank y'all for everything.

Due to the rush my grandson now has a fractured shoulder and a tube down his throat into his stomach due to swallowing birth fluids. We believe this delay was negligent and caused serious, preventable injuries to my newborn grandson.
