Don't get me wrong I still think the prices here are a bit high but the owner sizes you up instantly and picks out the shoe you want before you even get a word out. She hasn't failed yet with me, and I, the cheapskate, have bought 10 pairs of shoes from her at $60 and up where I used to think $20 was too much. I'll be back when this pair wears down. My son starts school soon and happened to be wearing shoes that were too small, I thought getting one pair here would save my wallet. We stopped only one worker was there I think her name was Hannah. She measured my son's feet, he was at a size 2. Sje recommended he go up one size because of how fast kids grow. She then went through and showed us all the kids shoes she has in a size 3. We picked out a shoe, she got it out and fixed the shoe laces and put them on my son's feet. We ended up buying 2 pairs, to be honest it had nothing to do with the deal. The employee was very pleasant (I am used to either being attacked by the employees at shoe stores or have to look around for someone to help), and assisted in the whole process of making sure the shoe fit. We ended up getting those light up sketchers and a pair of nike gym shoes. Because she was so helpful in making sure the shoe fit correctly, I will try to plan my shoe shopping days for when I return to Tomah. Customer service is what brings people back and I will be back!
