I recently was forced to retire for health reasons. I had gone through a refinance process with another mortgage company, but the process was stopped by a "delinquency" that was being reported by the company who held the 2nd on my home. I was not delinquent, so I went through several conference calls with that company, and a representative from the mortgage company. When we spoke with the rep, they agreed I was not in arrears. Then, an underwriter would call the 2nd mortgage company, and they would again state that I was in arrears. My refinance was denied at the point of funding. You can imagine how frustrating that was!! So....my brother recommended I try to get through my refinance with Jose Rasilla. I contacted Jose, and we went through the process again. This time, I was pretty nervous because of my previous, and very recent, experience. When we got to the point of funding, the same thing happened. Jose jumped in, and was able to figure out that the "arrears" the 2nd mortgage folks were referring to was actually an insurance payment that for some reason was showing up as unpaid. We were able to contact the mortgage company, and I paid the amount in full with him on the phone. The following week........my load funded!!! Yeah!!! This exact thing was more than likely what had happened previously when I had attempted to refinance. Unfortunately, no one took the time to dig into what was happening and assist with resolving the issue. Just yesterday, I received a bill from the 2nd mortgage company for that same amount. First thing that came to mind was "Yep....they've got their act together!!!". This refinance means I can remain in my home in retirement, so I'm incredibly happy with the outcome!! Jose, and everyone I have dealt with throughout this process have been very patient, understanding, and incredibly responsive. I can't even begin to put into words what a relief getting through this process has been!! Thank you so much Jose, and every one else at your office!! These guys are awesome! Ok so we just purchased our first home,.closed.about 2 weeks ago, and it was NOTHING like I expected. I had always heard horror stories about bad lenders and bogus preapprovals and all sorts of stuff, so i was pretty guarded when it came to getting financing. My agent Jason Manucci (also 5 stars) referred us to Greg and his crew and working with them was one of the best decisions we made. From my first conversation with Greg I was thoroughly impressed. He is honest, extremely knowledgeable, super nice, and very patient. Greg & Jose Luis are a pleasure to work with - it's always nice to work with true professionals who are very experienced, but also know when they don't know something, and then find out and get back to you. I have referred several clients to them, and they have always provided outstanding service. I always follow up with people that I refer, just to make sure I should continue to refer to them... and the feedback I've gotten has been positive all around. I've consistently heard that they take the time to listen to the needs of their borrowers, which I'm sure is important and maybe not as common as you'd hope. When I first called him he was so professional yet genuine. He asked me to email him all of my paper work to see if I qualified for a home loan.
