This young man is super talent and works well with kids. This was our first visit to this barber shop After visiting many in the Lodi and Stockton Area. No one took the time the way Rich did to get to know my son and his needs before sitting him in their chair. We texted back and forth prior to our appointment and I received a text reminder of our appointment. Rich made my 1.5 year old so comfortable. He continued to check in with me about the cut and if it was what I was looking for. I look forward to future hair cuts with Rich. read more

Mike gives the best fades in town. I went to him for like 15 years but I moved to West Sacramento so I just get my haircut over here. He is very meticulous regarding his haircuts and is a perfectionist. If you want a guy that is a perfectionist doing your hair Mike is the guy to go to. read more

I took my 1 year old son to Razor's Edge for his first haircut. Fernando was so nice and so patient with my son. My son was a little apprehensive, not sure of the people and of the buzzing clippers coming at him. Fernando was gentle and kind but still moved things along quickly for my son's sake. I wanted my son's first haircut to be at a traditional barber shop and Razor's Edge is just that! I loved that they had the World Cup playing and I loved all of the gentlemen sitting around chatting it up. Pricing was reasonable, only $10 for a haircut. Overall, a really great experience! This barber shop has the nerve to let people walk into their establishment, ready to spend their hard earned cash, and they don't even acknowledge you or even greet you. They literally let me walk in, sit down and wait over an hour to just tell me I needed an appointment and that they were going to close soon. My son went to get a haircut, and came home with the WORST Haircut EVER!!!! I don't know what the barber was thinking, but OMG!!!! I doubt this guy had a barbers license, or was fresh out of school???...We will never go here again... It looks like one side of his head was shaved bald with a lawnmower... no kidding! My son was so embarrassed, he didn't want to say anything to the barber, now he doesn't want to go to school...I am ticked! We will definitely spread the word about this place....DONT GO HERE!!! Really needed someone to doctor my last botched barber session at another shop and looked up barber shops in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a shop, Razor's Edge! I took a chance and walked into the shop. Soon as walking in, definitely got that family vibe, that everyone knows everyone type deal, which i love. I was greeted by a younger barber who seemed a little stand offish at first but directed me to Fernando who had some time to doctor my hair since I was walk in. Fernando is AMAZING, and is one of the sons of the owner. I explained to him my dilemma and how I wanted my hair and he gave some great suggestions and proceeded with my undercut. I was pleasantly pleased with his work. Lined me up flawlessly, especially my beard. That fade though? DOPE. Enjoyed the conversation and his talent. Ill definitely be back in the future. When you first walk in look to your right, The barbers name is Mike, he's a 20 year veteran bodybuilder that gives the best barbers hair cut I have ever had. I also take my son to him, he has autism and Mike cuts his hair perfect every time. Despite the head not staying still and his constant objections, Mike makes us feel welcome and appreciated. I called in Saturday to see if I had to book an appointment and to my surprise, I was told saturdays are their walk-in days. Sure enough I made a trip and waited about 10 mins. One of the barbers asked me if I was waiting for anybody in particular and I said no so he said he would take care of me. I told him what I was looking for and during the cut, he even noticed that my hair wasn't blended properly from the last cut I got elsewhere. After about 20mins, my haircut came out nice! I thought I would try this place out because I just moved to lodi and it had good reviews. I took my 3 yr son in and all three guys were busy cutting hair and they didn't even acknowledge me and I sat down for like 20 mins and still nobody acknowledged me and they were taking other people with appointments which is fine but they could of say something to us like it's gonna be a certain amount of time or you may need to come back. But they said nothing and I couldn't contain my son any longer and I felt they were super rude by not greeting us when we came in and the guy was busy playing on his phone to care about business so I walked out. I thought it was gonna be a cool place but it was just a bunch of old dweebs taking hours to cut one persons hair. Not to mention the shopping center is a dump. I have been getting my hair cut by Mike since I was 16 years old. Three things I really appreciate: 1. Mike is always on time with his appointments. When my appointment is at 4, I am seated at 3:59. 2. The price of a haircut is reasonable. 3. My hairstyle has changed many times over the 20 years that I have been seeing Mike and he is always able to understand what I am looking for and always more than meet my expectations. I have lived in a few other places over the years and first thing I would did when I got home was get my hair cut. Now I am fortunate to e able to see him regularly!
