Would recommend on the fact they do a decent job and come to do their assigned jobs timely. But will not recommend because they never call back, never reply to texts, or emails. I've been trying to get in contact with them about adding my back yard on top of them already coming bi-weekly for my front yard. I don't get how you can run a business and not communicate with the clientele you already have. Let alone trying to become a new customer, I guess I got lucky. I even tried to inquire about them putting new SOD in my backyard but no reply to that either and that was last year. So they lost out big on that since I hired another company. Razo's finished my front yard project yesterday and I am a very happy customer. Daniel and his crew met all my needs and did everything they said they would in the time frame promised. I have a very large front yard with drought tolerant plants that desperately needed attention. They trimmed all, replaced some and removed others. Laid all new mulch. They also relaid my flagstone walkway. They removed the stones, leveled and reset the rock in DG along with bender board. It looks so professional and beautiful now, and safe to walk on. They added mulch to my backyard planters along with pea gravel in another area. Everything looks wonderful and they left my property clean...no mess left behind. My backyard was a mess! Had many quotes but unreliable landscapers in my area. So I was scared to try another company. When I got ahold of Daniel and Rosie they were very professional and communicated quickly. Daniel was able to give me a very reasonable quote for my jungle of yard. Daniel, the Owner of RAZO's LANDSCAPING, recently provided professional, excellent, efficient and friendly service for our haywire sprinkler system. He was clear and concise in explaining what he was going to do to troubleshoot the issues with out extensive system. Then he made his recommendations to correct the faults in the system and further service it for optimum functionality. He completed the job according to agreement. Daniel was punctual and worked efficiently and purposefully while he was on the property. We were refreshingly impressed with his work ethics, compared to experiences with another landscaper involving over charging, substandard work and unprofessionalism. When I decided that it was time to hire a gardening service I spoke to Daniel at Razo's Landscape. He gave me his bid which I thought was fair and I hired him. I told him from day one that I expected him to do a complete job, taking care of planting beds; weeds; trimming shrubs and light pruning of trees as well as edging and lawn care etc. Daniel's a nice enough guy but unfortunately he turned out to be exactly what I didn't want; another edge, mow and go gardener. I gave him plenty of opportunities to pick up his game but unfortunately he didn't listen.... I don't write these things to be mean but rather that he read this review and learn where he fell short and about the value of customer service and delivering what he promises to his future customers. After writing the above very generous review I saw their pissy little response!!! Just to keep it real, how does it become "my" fault that Daniel is lazy and irresponsible. And as far as not speaking to Daniel about things not being done; I expressed my displeasure with him at least on a monthly basis about his half ass work ethic. I saw the reviews by the other folks and decided to give them a chance with my mom's house. I have to say that disappointing is an understatement. I called after the first week and explained that there was still small amounts trash in the yard. I was told that it would take a few weeks to get the trash out but if I wanted a thorough cleaning it would be additional (REALLY?). Well let me start by saying that the yard has always been maintained with the exception of about a month and it was in pretty good shape to begin with. The small amount of trash (a few small pieces of paper, a few plastic items, etc...) that was there kept reappearing every week of their service. Stevie Wonder couldn't miss this the stuff they were leaving behind. For the price that this guy was charging I was expecting a lot better and I told them this when I hired them. I didn't mind paying a little more if I was going to get exceptional service. Instead, I paid more and mediocre service at best. For the price I wouldn't waste my time with these folks. I am really glad I found Razo's team last year, and I've been wanting to leave this review. I had them put in some new sod to replace my ugly lawn last year. Daniel and his team did a great job and Rosie was very helpful on the phone. Daniel even offered to come back and adjust the watering schedule for me. And then recently, I hired them again to fix my irrigation system and Daniel was able to figure out what the problem is within minutes. Came out and gave me an estimate to do weekly gardening service that was so preposterously high that I laughed him off my lot.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and not terribly surprised. It seems that there are no reliable gardeners these days. These people want you to pay them via PayPal, which I did. However, it hadn't been claimed. Found out I was given wrong information. Finally got that cleared up and they "decided" to resume my service after alleged non-payment. Then I was contacted again basically saying to never mind the last email about resuming my service because they were canceling me due to one day of service without pay! I must mention that there was one day where they didn't do my back yard (which is large), but I was still willing to let that slide and pay full price. Their bookkeeping and communication needs much improvement. So very frustrated. Are there any reputable gardeners out there that don't mind working anymore????!!! Update: I was just contacted by Rosie by phone who told me she did not appreciate my review and that it was inappropriate. Really? I think it's inappropriate to be contacted and argued with about my review. I did not say anything inflammatory. I simply stated my experience as I felt. Again, I cannot reiterate enough the great amount of lack of communication. They did not come always on the days expected......we don't have a key for the back gate and I told them that (that is why I need consistency)....I copied and pasted the paypal information Rosie gave me (if it was incorrect, it was not from me). Promising but not delivering. Since 9 out of 10 reviewers before us gave Razo a good rate, we decided to give it a try. Daniel told us on Friday to start working at 8 am Saturday morning. No show up until 8:30 am. Called Daniel and he said on the way to us. No show up until 9 am. Called him again and got a texting back saying have to finish up another job first (but never mentioned before). I texted back saying will give him second chance but please keep his promise. Daniel responded "I ran into some problems with the work you don't have to wait for me." My bad luck or poor service provider? Daniel and Rosie are extremely helpful, they not only take good care of our lawn. They also let us know things that actually saved us money. After one regular service, we got a call from Daniel saying that he noticed a pipe got damaged by the rose bush roots and was leaking water slowly. He got us a reasonable quote and fixed the pipe and removed the rose bush that same day, that help us save on water bill. I made an appointment with Rosie for an estimate to have sprinklers installed and to have regular lawn maintenance. She said she would call the day before to confirm but the day before, day of, and day after passed and I never received a call and no one showed up at my house. I called and left a voice mail and the receptionist called back & said she never called me because there were actually no available times... I like to support small businesses, but I like to work with business owners that are responsive and return customers' call. I did not hire their company to care for my lawn because there seems to be a lot communication issues. They do not return calls or email quotes. After bad luck with finding a good, reliable gardener, I finally took to Yelp to find a reputable lawn care company that also specialized in irrigation systems with decent reviews. When I read the reviews for Razo's Landscape, I immediately called them up to see if they could take a look at a irrigation system problem I had in my back yard. The sprinklers in the back yard weren't getting enough pressure to adequately water my lawn. Daniel came over and spent a lot of time looking at my whole system to figure out what could be done to solve the water pressure issue. He didn't charge me anything for his time, and quickly got back to me with an estimate for the work. In addition to the pressure issue, I also asked for some additional sprinkler work (swapping out sprinkler heads, replacing broken sprinklers, and installing a drip system). His estimate was fair and he and his helper came the day they said they would, did the work they said they were going to do, and FIXED my water pressure issue (something other gardeners tried, but couldn't do). A week and a half ago I called Daniel asking for advice for reseeding my lawn. He said he would be in the area and wouldn't mind coming by and mowing the lawn in the back and applying the seed and topper if I just paid for grass seed and seed topper. The grass is coming up nicely now thanks to all of Daniel's work. I was so impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic, that I've now hired him to maintain my lawn twice a month. I found this company on Craig's List when I bought my first house 2 years ago after the gardeners who used to do the house turned into flakes. Razo's is FANTASTIC! I cannot say enough good things about them. Always on time and have never missed a week. They do a wonderful job, keeping both my front yard and back yard looking neat and trim. Daniel has been to my house a few times now. He does not come on a regular basis so i cant comment on that. He has come to tackle my backyard when i dont get around to it for too long. Sometimes it "does" mean that he cant just come immediately....i understand that he has many clients and i dont mind waiting a little while to get an appointment. He completes everything I ask for and sometimes checks on things I might be overlooking. He works very fast and does a great job. We have been using Razo's for a few months now and they have been consistent in coming every week to take care of our yard. We had ivy growing across a wall and up our house that they have been making sure it does not happen again. They laid SOD for us and trim our bushes and planters when needed.
