Walked in, sat down, after 5 minutes checked yelp, saw the reviews, immediately left. Was not greeted at the door, a mosquito sucked 1/2 a quart of blood out of me, didn't even get a drink menu. First time ever here. Won't be back. Although the food was good, the service was something to be desired. The servers walked around with frowns, and didn't check in on you. We also killed four wasps and wasn't able to get anyone's attention so we could be moved and moved ourselves. I told one of the servers to let OUR server know and zero communication. Server was friendly and seafood chowder was tasty. Those were the only highlights. We were highly disappointed in this restaurant. First, the menu selection was very limited and extremely pricey. The price would have been worth it, except the food was awful. I had a cup (very small) of chowder and an apple & brie salad. The salad's apple and brie was completely overwhelmed by the flavour of the greens, onion, and beet vinaigrette. My husband had the 8oz steak entree. The first steak was medium-well done when he ordered medium rare, so the kitchen said they'd cook him a rare and it came out the proper cook. Unfortunately, the outside of the steak was charred and the fries tasted burnt. No seasoning on either the steak or the fries. I saw the sign saying that there were unlimited fries with an entree, but our server never offered or mentioned them. One last note, if you have a shellfish allergy (or just don't like it), don't bother with Razzy's. Just about everything on the menu has shellfish as part of the dish. read more

I dunno what the others are talking about. Service here was great. Food was great. We went in just before closing without realizing it and our waitress assured us a couple times it was totally okay. She checked on us several times, always happy and pleasant. Keep in mind this is a major tourist town in the summer and food is going to take time to prepare. Don't expect to be in and out in a half hour especially at peak times. I'd definitely come back here again. Great spot! read more

Friendly service but the food was just fair and way overpriced. They charge $6 to upgrade your fries to sweet potato fries. SIX DOLLARS! And I paid $22 for a plate of average nachos that looked like it was off the kids menu. I'd be fine with paying if the portion sizes were on par with the prices. Save your money don't come here ! Came here with my dad just for a quick meal during the evening . Let's start off by saying the service is very very slow .... the server even forgot to give us utensils but the next people who came after to sit down received them . Moving forward the food is average if not a bit under average . I ordered their fish and chips . The fish inside was very dry n had zero to none flavour . As well it almost felt the batter wasn't fully cooked through . One positive is the fries were really good n their tartar sauce gave most flavour . My father got the hand cooked haddock which for him tasted very average and not worth the price . Overall I will not be coming back and recommend not to come here . TERRIBLE SERVICE! After waiting 40 minutes for our food (salad and fish tacos) and being told it "was busy", while watching others get their meals, I finally asked to speak to the manager. Turns out he was our server and wouldn't even come over to our table. I went to the front counter to pay for our drinks and told them to forget the food. He did not apologize for the extremely poor service, just gestured that it was busy. It was a poor first impression on our first night in PEI! I should have read these other terrible reviews and saved ourselves a wasted evening. read more

Service FAIL at Razzy's Beach House Restaurant & Pub in Cavendish yesterday. We ordered the kids' fish and chips for my daughter, but were charged for the regular version, which was apparently the one the waitress brought out for her (we had no idea which was which). When I brought this to the server's attention and asked that the bill be changed accordingly, she proceeded to argue with me, saying "she ate it, there's nothing we can do". It was 100% the server's fault for ringing in, and bringing, the wrong meal portion. After arguing with me further, and me asking for a manager, and waiting an additional 10 minutes on top of a meal that already took far too long, she finally returned with a fixed bill. This was NOT the way to handle this situation, with a table leaving well over $100 at your establishment. Food also overpriced, and took well over 45 minutes to arrive. Will not be returning. Recommend you don't either. read more
