Long review but reading might save you from being scammed Today i went to deposit $1,300+ into my account using RBFCU's ATM machine that's located on their property and branded "RBFCU" for it to KEEP MY MONEY AND MY DEBIT CARD. SCAM?!?! RBFCU's ATM machine displayed "Unable To Count Cash" and spit back out only $20 out of the $1,300+ i had just put in. After grabbing my $20, the cash dispenser door closed and their ATM machine then displayed "Take Your Cash" while the door to the machines money dispenser stayed closed. I sat there for about 10 minutes and the ATM machine was still telling me to "Take Your Cash" but was NOT giving me my cash or my card? ! I was afraid to walk away with that message STILL on their screen after waiting all that time. I ran inside to get help and Amanda at the front door was the very worst and sadly the very first face i saw. No problem solving skills and told me it would take 7-10 business days for them to MAYBE give me my money back. I went back outside to see if the machine finally spit out my money but the screen had reset and was now ready for the next person to use. To make this story short from here on out, I go back inside and a Manager finally came out to tell me the same thing. That they can't do anything, it's not even their ATM (But remember, it's on their property and branded RBFCU, now all of the sudden it's not theirs?) and that i'll be waiting 7-10 business days to MAYBE get my money back. This is a total SCAM and it's not the first time RBFCU's machine does this to me!!!! Seems to be a reoccurring thing with RBFCU and i bet most people either won't bother going in to demand their money back, or most people wait the 7-10 business days and either get some or none of their money back and just move on? After walking away with only $20, and no hope of getting my money back due to the lack of professional help i received, I would NOT recommend anyone go to this location unless you like giving away your hard earned money or being SCAMMED. read more

BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I repeat, bank with someone who is reputable and will ensure your money and account are taken care of. My account was charged fraudulently twice for the same amount and when asked if they could freeze the account so no more auto drafts could come from it, they said they were unable since I had filed an open fraud claim. I would have to wait 10 days till the conclusion of their investigation. Hence, i was assessed overdraft fees until my funds were depleted and then put into the negative. After reaching out to the company who charged the account fraudulently, they refunded the money to my account. RBFCU then determined that since I had had business with this company in the past and they refunded the charges, they determined that it was not fraud and that the overdraft fees, even those beyond what were charged for the fraud charges, would not be refunded. To make matters worse, the representatives at the branch told us they are not allowed to make any of these decisions, all of the account and fraud decisions are made at their main office. What good is having a branch manager if they are just a glorified teller! I've never had this happen with any other financial institution and rest assured, i will not be letting this happen again. I was simply going to call this location and use apple maps to look up nearest and number for it when I saw it had a one star review I was genuinely curious. When I saw the reviews it was no wonder why, it seems as though all the customers like myself have never taken the time to put in a review for y'all and that sucks because out of, at the very least, 10-15 times Ive been to this location its always been quick, simple, and the associates were more than nice and helpful. I was taken back to see the other reviews I saw which some looked to be based on mere insecurity/and or intuition of a customer, how crazy! Wow -5 stars if I could, forgot password on my online account so I call them, they tell me to login using last 4 of my social, doesn't work has to call back and wait on hold for 40 minutes again then they say the last 4 of my social are wrong!? I have my social card in my hand what do you mean it's wrong. Waste of my time read more

This is not an institution I would recommend doing business with. Very uneducated on simple tasks, very bias, and unprofessional. I have been with RBFCU for eight years, and one encounter later with this specific branch, that streak has ended. read more
