Ry is NOT an easy kid to cut hair on. I groom dogs for a living, and you couldn't pay me enough to attempt to cut this kid's hair. He does not sit still, he's constantly fidgeting, and he bobs and weaves like he's trying to dodge a professional boxer every time someone comes at him with clippers. But Jeff and his crew have somehow made it to where Ry is actually EXCITED to go get his hair cut. They explain every step to him, let him turn the clippers on, touch his head with the back of the clippers before actually using them, and explain in detail what they're going to do next. They dry him off as quickly as possible and blow all the loose hair off because apparently a single hair touching this child is a five-alarm emergency. He wanted to get a lightning bolt shaved into his hair, and the barber cutting it was going to let him... until he saw Ry's reaction to having his ears and neck trimmed. He then explained to Ry that the clippers he used around his ears and neck were the same clippers he'd use to make the lightning bolt, and let Ry decide whether he still wanted to do it. That right there meant so much to me. I am 100% happy with his haircut, the environment, and every single employee we've interacted with. They are patient, kind, and genuinely take the time to make him comfortable instead of just trying to get the haircut over with. I really hope they're around for a LONG time, because I don't think my kid is ever going to want to go anywhere else. And honestly... if you can successfully cut Ry's hair without him trying to escape, you deserve a trophy.

Five-O-Fades had parking and nobody waiting so I stopped to give them a shot. Five-O-Fades has my type of atmosphere and Bonanza was on the TV. I was in the chair quick, the Barber was friendly, and my cut was complete in a timely fashion. Unfortunatly the fashion of my cut wasn't what I expected. Five-O-Fades must be like the name...all about the Fade, because my Taper endend up a Fade. I am not to picky with haircuts because a hat can be a cure all, but this fade was a bit too high for my liking. I have no doubt that Five-O-Fades can give you a great Fade and Shave and if that is what you desire, this is your place. Will probably do in a pinch for me but for now, I still have my usual go to.

He has a lot of regulars and will remember you when you become a repeat customer. The best thing about Eli is his attention to detail. He really takes the extra time to make sure everything about your haircut is perfect. I would recommend calling ahead. He does take walk ins but will fairly prioritize call ahead customers. He can also be very busy as he's very popular with the community, both you and old customers. Last, the price is very fair. $15 for a haircut, $20 is he works with your face. A truly awesome barber.

My search revealed that few if any barbers around the area do reservations. That's when I stumbled onto a Facebook post for the Pros 2 Barber Shop that said they had just started taking appointments. So I called and made one for the following Saturday. I walked in and was a little surprised to see that the owner, Eli, had this crazy head of hair and the customers waiting were all half my age. But sure enough, at my appointment time, he took me ahead of another customer and gave me the best, boring "old man" haircut I had been seeking. He even uses shave cream and a straight razor to make the finishing touches. I've been back every 3-4 weeks and he consistently gives me a professional, detailed haircut. I highly recommend Eli.
