Today is my son's 13th birthday and he wanted to get his haircut, so we gave Rooster's another shot. I hesitate to make such a negative review, but this was a truly ugly cut. So uneven, bangs cut to a point in the middle between his eyebrows, his face was totally covered in hair-there was no brush off or anything. We were both very disappointed. $32 for something that I could have stayed home and hacked at his hair with kitchen scissors and done just as well if not better. I'm sad to say that we won't be back.

I went to get a haircut and "lo and behold" it was exactly as I remembered except a couple of hundred yards around the corner in the same shopping center. Paul and Hoyt were still cutting hair. They give great haircuts for a reasonable price ($18). The place is family oriented, no TV, loud music, or foul language, just pleasant conversation. Hoyt just retired recently. One of the original barber's daughter, Cindi, is a barber there. Anyway, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I liked the stylist I had a lot, had clearly evened up a beard before. The inside was clean and not too overwhelming with a bunch of TVs and marketing....definitely a step up from the chain brand business around the area. Come try it sometime!
