Upon going for my initial appointment, the referral that was provided by The VA Hospital, indicated…read moremy sister was in need of therapy to help her with her balance, strength in her legs, pain in her legs, knees and back. The therapist Mrs. A. Asked my sister if her hands were in pain? She said yes, from gripping my cane and walker daily. Mrs. A immediately left the room and called the VA Hospital. She explained the way the consult is written indicates my sister needs physical therapy. The same info was written on the referral for unsteady gait, pain in back, knees, and legs. Mrs.A requested the referral be rewritten to change referral from Occupational therapy, to physical therapy. This is how thorough this facility is. The staff is extremely user friendly, and professional. Meeting the clients needs is their top priority. I was more than impressed with my sisters care. I would highly recommend this Physical/ occupational therapy facility to all of my family and friends. Great place to rebuild your mind and body.

They accommodate to ppl who don't have help with their kids by allowing you to bring them to the appointments. Their treatments are efficient and my quality of living is so much better now bc I have little to no pain now. Highly recommend. Almost sad that i have no need to go back now after 11 appointments. Very pleased.

The jury is still out on those place with me. I and my GP's office staff AND the NP at my GP's…read moreoffice tried multiple times over a 4 month span to get ahold of the office of Dr. Lovato in the phone, so I could be referred for some bulging disks, back pain and lower extremity weakness. But we got the same phone message, for 4 months. "Thank you for calling, the mailbox is full, GOODBYE". My doctor said she knew he was still around because she saw him in the hospital making rounds, etc... so she tried calling , same thing. So we printed a referral and I was told to go and deliver it. So I did. It's in a new building on Texas. But the parking is weird. All over the lot has these signs that say STOP, you must scan and pay before leaving the lot or your car will be towed. It doesn't say HOW MUCH It will cost or anything, just uses a giant QR code for you to scan and pay. So I didn't park there, I parked in the alley. And prayed that was ok. When I got to the basement where the offices are I asked at the front desk while dropping the referral what the parking situation is with the towing and etc. she said NOT for patients, all you have to do is come up here, scan our QR code and input your license plate number then it validates you and you don't pay. It's free to park. But nothing in the lot tells you this. "For patients of El Paso Orthopedic you can bring your license plate number and get validated" on a sign under the ones threatening to TOW would be nice, especially for first time patients. Anyway, they told me it would be 4 MONTHS before I could get an appointment with Dr. Lovato. ?!!!? That's cray cray and ridiculous. Or I could see An NP named Esquivel in about 2.5 weeks, if I wasn't seeking surgery. I told I don't think so, I think my GP thought some targeted PT would help. So I got an appointment with him. He was very nice when I went to see him . I kept wanting to call him "Dr." but he corrected me " I'm not a doctor. Just a Nurse Practitioner". Most NP's I see don't mind being called doctor. I like that he doesn't. That way we know that he isn't a doctor. But he did review the reports on my disks and thinks PT would help along with some cold and heat treatments. I have another visit a couple of Weeks after the PT starts. We will see how it's like then.. I need a few more visits I think to post a final score in this place.
