So much so, that the sheriff told us no one was allowed on the premises, and hanging around for what I assume to make a call on evacuation. We called Vacasa's help line to receive a refund or some sort of assistance since THEY'RE cabin is underwater, and the lady proceeded to tell us that since the insurance was not purchased, there was nothing she could do. AT ALL. So after 13 hours of driving we are having to find elsewhere to stay. Maybe next time I'll purchase the travel insurance. OH WAIT!! There won't be a next time with Vacasa. Trash customer service.

I absolutely enjoyed this mini sized lodging location. It was completely surrounded by nature, wildlife and a closed hot tub (Due to COVID-19 protocols.) But don't complain to VACASA because all there worried about is the money not customer service, so any complaints fall on deaf ears. They may reassure you they'll make it right, DON'T BELIEVE THEM! Hubs booked through Booking.com. He read great reviews. He got a text directly from the lodge with the room number and the code to the keyless lock. We did have a snafu, our window was stuck. There's a number to text and/or call, which we did to let them know about the window. The response was immediate. We set up a time for maintenance to come in and fix the window. Awesome service!

It had a small bathroom with a shower. A kitchenette with weak coffee. Overall though, it was a peaceful setting outside of Pagosa Springs, CO, with evergreens scattered all around and a hill behind us. Suggestions I have that would push this property to 5 stars are in no particular order: 1) to fix their TV remote and living room blinds in our room. The buttons kept sticking so it would continuously change menus. The blinds nearest the front door and TV also were dysfunctional. 2) Clarify the parking spots. I think I accidentally parked in my neighbor's spot the first night because they aren't marked. 3) What's with all the remodeling crap stashed everywhere? And 4) y'all encouraged me to text you any time, but I never got a response back when I checked out. I also never received an email confirmation when I made reservations. Good thing I have learned to take screenshots... Not cool.

This place is incredible. Took family there in June and kids had a blast. Beautiful setting sits…read moreway back off road. Saw lots of deer and elk right off back deck. The lodge is beautiful and immaculate and the manager Blake couldn't do enough for us told us places to go things to see. Rooms and large public areas are decorated and designed making you feel right at home. Incredible view of San Juan mountains from your private suite and even your bedroom. Definitely worth making time and spending a week. Don't forget to visit hot springs
