From…read morestart to finish, this group of men were honest, incredibly focused, skilled and hardworking as they started by consulting with me on my project of adding an outdoor patio, suggesting modifications to enhance the appearance and practicality, all the way through to construction. They left my back yard in pristine condition by cleaning up all the dust, packaging, and anything else that was used on the job. You know when you hire someone on a project and you keep waiting for them to say, "oh we didnt budget for this" or "its actually going to cost more because xyz"? None of that here. Jordan came out, listened to us describe our project, made some great suggestions and bid the job (which was beyond reasonable) Then he came by to drop off some materials and said Ill be back in the morning with my crew. And he was! They worked all day with no breaks and finished my large brick patio in one day, on budget. It was nothing but a pleasure dealing with these guys from start to finish. I will be using them for everything outdoor related from here on out. They do landscape, tree removal and trimming, build retaining walls and patios. I give these guys 5 stars and they earned it. First it was, oh, it's too early to put down sod, it'll die. We should plant in late April. We also won't know if your front yard needs replaced until the grass has had more time to grow. How he could conclude that the back yard needed it but not the front is beyond me -- it was the same grass in the same condition. Probably just trying to cover for the fact they didn't measure and estimate what I asked for originally. Late April came and went, despite phone calls from me as asked in early April to setup an estimate. Then it was, we'll come by and estimate in early May for install in late May. Late May has come and gone and I still don't have a full yard estimate, let alone any grass. Done with their lies. I've hired someone else. You should do the same if you want your project done.

The owner of Cabrera Landscaping personally came out to take a look at my job and give his suggestions and an honest quote. This gave me confidence that they are taking every project seriously from small to large. The quality of work I had seen from other projects and the quote coming back at an affordable price point made my choice to move forward with Cabrera a no brainer. Once I signed a contract and got a deposit work started almost right away and was completed in an efficient amount of time. At the end of the job there were a few punch list items that needed to be resolved and the team at Cabrera jumped in to make everything right as soon as possible to make sure I was happy. I have an acre, and much of the backyard surrounding the pool and walkways was done in travertine stone, altogether a couple of thousand square feet. I had extensive flood damage to the stone in the last 2 years. Much of the stone had to be removed and reset or replaced, of course with a completely new stone bed and mortar. In addition I had a broken area of my driveway that needed to be redone with concrete pavers. The masons finished their job about a week ago and I was just amazed at how meticulous they were. I have done complete remodels, including extensive landscaping, on six different houses, and the paving work done by Cabrera was so far superior to any other crew I have hired that there is really no second best. They were head and shoulders above all the others. They were absolute perfectionists, and did not rush at all. What was originally thought to take 3 days or so turned into a 5-day job for a three man crew, but there was not a bit of complaining from anyone. They did not try to increase the charge because of the unanticipated extra labor. The owner of the company was always available and always responsive to any question. What I have today is a hardscape that is far superior to the original installation done 10 years ago. This is a company, family owned, that I will keep on my list for any landscaping needs in the future.
