Do NOT bank here. I admit, I was in overdraft, and received a letter that account would close 30…read moredays from the date on the letter, which was December 30th, so that meant the account would close on January 30th. I called them to make sure my employer direct deposit would be okay, and it would pay off the balance owed, etc. They informed me that they closed my account on the 17th, which is NOT what the letter stated. I asked about my paycheck, and they said that they will send it back on the 31st, even though they received it on the 24th, so that puts me in a huge bind, even though it would have been fine had they not closed the account earlier than the letter stated. They are only holding onto the funds so they can collect the returned check fees. They are scam artists and liars. Luckily, I have a great employer that understands the scamming antics of BancFirst, as this is not their first time dealing with this horrific bank.

So, a capable, extremely competent, experienced, knowledgable, and customer service oriented manager was "eliminated" in favor of what? The branch manager had been there for at least 15 years that I know of and was the primary reason I (and I suspect many others) did business at this bank in general and this branch in particular. I can only guess the position was "eliminated" in favor of hiring a lower paid employee. I am certain, though, the bank's decision was NOT based any concern for the quality of service offered customers at this location.
