He died nearly 3 years ago and he did not designate any beneficiary for his credit union account. I sent Truity the death certificate and a copy of the will. In California, wills are set up as a family trust. Unfortunately it wasn't an easy issue in Oklahoma. They needed a letter from the a court stating I was the beneficiary. To get that document, the legal fees would be more than the account was worth. Over two and half years ago, the agent told me that Truity would forward the money to the State of California Unclaimed property. Here nearly 3 years have past and this has not been done. I called today and spoke to an agent and was told that this was not done, that he would refer it to the right department, that he he didn't know how long it would take, and he wasn't able to notify me when the notification was completed. I searched all over the website for a way to discuss issues and concerns about customer service or complaints and found no way to discuss this complaint with anyone or a way to follow up if the issue was resolved. They were also extremely understanding when I lost my husband of 45 years.

I won't be here for long and if you bank with this company, get out while you can. I was with Republic bank for around 5-6 years and never had issues!
