Having been VERY sick after my last surgery there, I was ambivilent about using them again. This time, they gave me meds to counteract any nausea before surgery, and I explained to Joseph that I had a negative experience with the last anesthesia I was given there. Mind you, I do not have this experience in hospitals with anesthesia. Well, this time, I had a lot of trouble even coming out of the anesthesia. They gave me narcan to take down the effects of morphine given, but it did no good. My oxygen levels were very low, and they wanted me to stay there for a couple of days, but we did have an O2 concentrator at home and a pulse oximeter to check my oxygen levels. I wanted OUT of that place. I hurled my food after eating when I got home and was sick to my stomach for days. It took 2 full days before my oxygen levels were normal, so I didn't feel comfortable taking my pain meds, and I desperately needed them. I was miserable and will not go anywhere that uses West River anesthesiology. I had them at Same Day Surgery when having a hysterectomy and got very ill after surgery. They kept me overnight and I was restless and broke out in bumps all over my stomach and back. I was on oxygen throughout the night. I am absolutely terrified to ever use any of their anesthesiologists again after 2 very negative experiences. I don't trust them.

The doctor I saw is very good, however the prices for services are absolutely ridiculous. 2 visits…read morefor nerve block injections which take no longer than 30mins, usually 15 minutes, costs $699.80 according to my last bill. My advice is to start asking providers what they charge and if they don't share, go somewhere else. Will be finding somewhere else myself.

The other doctor said did the shots and even told me well I'm 54 years old I might just have to live with it . I had very painful sharp stab every time I put weight on my left leg it was horrible ! And I am 57 years old right now I walked over 5 Mi everyday at work . 5 miles! I couldn't get up out of my chair and walk to the bathroom without being in tears because the pain hurts so bad . My back hurts if I overdo it too much but that's my own fault I am 57 years old . Before he fixed my back I wasn't even able to get pots and pans out of my lower cabinets . I couldn't put any vegetables in my crisper drawer drawers in the bottom of my refrigerator because I couldn't bend over to open them . I couldn't empty my dishwasher because I couldn't bend over to get the plates out ! I felt like a total failure as a wife and human being . Doctor not only relieved the pain but this man literally gave me my life back . So if he says he can fix you he can . He's smart he's funny . But the man knows his s*** ! And he has the best staff ever! If you're in pain make an appointment ! Get your life back like I did !
