I have worked with other agents at Remax Town & Country for smooth transitions...very satisfying.

NEGATIVE stars if I could. If you purchase a property from Felipe or Mario Carillo be prepared to…read morefind that absolutely not one thing in the house is done with longevity or even honesty in mind. Lipstick on pig. They will absolutely scheme to make sure they get the most money while you're left with a hot mess you won't even find out about until something goes completely sideways. Let's take a look at all of the lovely accolades they said about the house in the listing, shall we? "All updated vinyl windows"? LOL, windows are trimmed on the exterior with painted OSB plywood -- not even a thought to proper flashing, bottom frames are completely rotted out inside. "Updated appliances"? Fridge started leaking refrigerant within a year & turns out the serial number was scratched out (a lemon), wall vent was hooked up to a light switch, stove side looks like it was dropped from 6 feet in the air. "Granite countertops"? Scrap piece that they attempted to fit on the old cabinets that had a gap at the back you could throw a plate down in some spots & where there was backsplash it looked like they used school glue to attach it so it fell off. "Updated copper plumbing"? Sure, but instead of, idk, putting it in the wall where the PREVIOUS PIPES ALREADY WERE, they ran it through the floor and left the cast iron just hanging from the wall in the basement. "Huge full fenced in back yard"? Fence fell down within a year and a half, we thought we had at least a bit of time. A wasp infestation, invasive trees and weeds everywhere. Otherwise -- Electrical? A joke. Exposed wires in the attic. Bathtub? Such a nice alcove cast iron tub -- painted with WALL PAINT TO LOOK NICE. I would have rather they had just let it be the way that it was. I shudder to think what kind of atrocities I will find behind the tile in the bathroom at this point in the "updated main bath". I honestly hope that this is a fluke but I know they probably have done this to many other people and that infuriates me. Hope they're enjoying all the money they made off me now because where they'll eventually wind up, it won't be nice!

Unfortunately I can't give them ZERO stars. They don't even deserve one. I bought a property that…read morewas listed by Mario and Felipe Carrillo. Throughout the entire buying process they are slow to reply and we had to get an extension multiple times due to them being slow. There wasn't even a seller to communicate to since they were the owners of the house. Doesn't make sense why they left everything last minute. Also, once we moved in we discovered plumbing issues and had to deal with it ourselves. I found Mario and told him I was the buyer and kindly asked him if there were any warranties with the plumbers and he told me there isn't because they did everything. They are the worst! They cut corners to make the house look nice and didn't care about plumbing or anything within the walls and floors. PLEASE DONT BUY OR FROM OR WITH THEM.

Simply the best! I…read moream an artist and first got to work with BEI as a resident of Water Street Studios. I had an issue with a leaking limestone wall that Kristen Johnson immediately repaired for me so that my artwork would not sustain any damage. She was quick and attentive and worked so diligently to make sure it was fixed properly and completely. I so much appreciated that! When looking for a studio closer to my home, I worked with BEI again to obtain a space in the Cedar Avenue Business Center in St. Charles. Austin Dempsey, Scott Prudden and Kristen Johnson were so helpful and understanding of the needs of creatives! Our building has been growing with artists and it has made the location perfect. I appreciate BEI being easy to reach, approachable, willing to help in all ways possible, and appreciative of their tenants - often treating us like family. You don't find that in many places. To show how supportive they are of the artists in the building, they even allowed us to temporarily use some large office space in our building to curate and create an art gallery that we could open to the public. They are awesome! If you need a space, whether it be small or large, BEI is great to work with!
