The report and Tom both failed to mention a window, missing windowpanes also needed to be replaced. I called and questioned why it wasn't noted by him or his recommended inspection company. The condo is a hotel conversion, 265 sq. ft. total. Well, that led to my not trusting the sale, refusing to close until the window was installed, which led to a standoff. As an aside, the property was relisted two days before my scheduled settlement. Another red flag for me. I clearly made it known I would not take a credit and would only close when the window was replaced. After signing the sales release to cancel, the seller will only return half of my deposit/escrow. So, my recommendation is to get your own agent, get your own inspection company if there is a need. Do you own inspection in person.

If Paul is your sellers agent, RUN don't walk away. Paul is not only rude but he's awfully…read moredishonest. This was our experience through every step of the way, down to the closing table. He talked down to our realtor through every negotiation. The house needed a new roof and Paul had someone without any licensing give quotes to negotiate. Thankfully, our realtor did not put up with this we had two reputable roofers come in. The sellers removed the doorbell...Paul tried to pass it off like it wasn't a fixture attached to the house. His agency, Keller Williams, actually stepped in to resolve it because Paul had lied. He tried to convince us to close without accepting all of the keys at the table. At closing, he was incredibly rude. While everyone went around and introduced themselves at the table, Paul was 15 minutes late and didn't even say hello to my husband and I. He shushed our attorney who was doing her best to be as reasonable as possible. He insulted us to our faces. The office manager even had to step in. I would never recommend using or dealing with Paul in any manner. If you do happen to be interested in a house he is selling, be sure 1. your agent is as amazing as ours was and won't accept his mansplaining and slimy behavior, and 2. you have an attorney at the closing table because he will try to pull one over on you at the last minute.
