Within just a few days we were looking at houses based on what worked for our schedule. We had just had a baby and lived 2 hours away, so our schedule was not easy to accommodate. This was our second time working with Christi and The Key Group. The first was when we sold our home to leave Atlanta, which was also a flawless and enjoyable process! This time we worked primarily with Becky who was phenomenal. Having never met Becky before, I felt like I had known her for years. She was personable, timely, and available when we had questions. She was constantly checking on me and our baby as we were in the early days of little to no sleep and were exhausted. It truly made me feel cared for as a person, before a client. Becky did a fantastic job ensuring we had all our timelines organized throughout the process. She was thorough in getting us comparisons of nearby homes and made sure we were paying a fair price. In addition, she went above in beyond in coordinating the home inspection and subsequent requests for repair. We were very grateful for this level of detail. Starting with Zoom video showings, until half of our family relocated to GA, and were able to see homes in person in the late winter/early spring. Christi and her team made sure to set up appointments/showings within minutes of us showing interest in a home. Christi made herself available at any time. I felt embarrassed texting her late at night, but she welcomed any form of communication day or night. Despite this crazy market, in the middle of a pandemic, and our reluctance/hesitation after several rejected offers, Christi and her team stayed incredibly positive and continued to encourage us to do the same. She always reminded us, "you will end up in the home you were meant to be in." She not have been more correct. Since we spent several hours together, Christi and her team felt more like family, than anything else. More importantly, Christi and her team makes you feel like family. They were genuinely concerned about what our needs were in a home, and offered great advise, counsel, and made sure to point out things we may not have considered while showing homes. After almost 6 months of viewing 60+ homes, rejections, frustrations, and almost considering settling, we found a home that checked all the boxes, and then some! With her teams relentless persistence, and positive energy, we were finally able to relax and proud owners of our new home. I assume it was because she got an offer for more $$$. When I brought up my concerns to her broker, Melba Franklin, the only response I got was ...you got the house. Hmmmm this would be why I am now on Yelp. Perhaps no response would have been a better tactic? I would have given the benefit of the doubt the issue was privately addressed. BTW it is a great house.
