She helped me refocus after not getting each of them - never swaying me to go above my means; letting them go and reminding me that my forever home was out there. Finally, I found my dream home! I knew I was selling in the worst market in 30 years and was preparing for the worst while hoping for the best. It turns out that preparing for the worst was a waste of time! I had known Sharon as we both lived in the same community and often ran into each other on dog walks. When I thought about selling, there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to enlist Sharon's services. Not because I liked her as a person, but because her professional reputation and stellar sales record made her an obvious choice. Over the years I saw Sharon's signs go up all over the place and very shortly after, a sold sticker would appear. Looking at her website, I felt that she priced homes spot-on and as a result of excellent pricing and marketing, they sold quickly. My case was no different. Sharon evaluated my home and suggested a very fair asking price. I had decided to use a staging company and needed to do a few minor fix-ups which Sharon helped me coordinate. In fact, she went above and beyond and was very hands-on when it came to getting my property listed. I became quite ill shortly after listing and Sharon was even the first to bring me chicken soup and ginger-ale because she treats her clients like she treats her friends and family. Beyond the fact that Sharon is a lovely person and a delight to work with, she is also a very savvy business woman and a shrewd negotiator. During the worst market in 30 years, Sharon still managed to generate a lot of interest in my unit and when I received my first offer, she was still generating interest which really helped me when negotiating with a potential buyer. In the end, my place sold in less than half the average for Vancouver in a very slow market for the price that I wanted. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I could go on and on about how amazing Sharon is and I have told everyone who will listen to save them self the time and energy it takes to find a real estate professional and just hire Sharon. I have since left Vancouver and am sad that I won't be able to use Sharon when I purchase my new home. Sharon, I can't thank you enough for all that you did for me.

The worst experience we have encountered by a realtor. This…read morerealtor and her clients pressured my tenant to view their place twice with less than 24 hours notice as per the British Columbia tenancy legislation. The realtor and her client did not put in a written offer until our realtor notified her that another family had scheduled a viewing. There were mistakes on Angela's offer as well as items that we did not agree with as is in normal negotiations. Especially lowballing us. Angela's client came at us in a bullying fashion with price, and timelines. The worst part is that Angela gave us her first lowball offer at almost 8:45 pm. We are seniors and my wife has serious mobility issues. We are usually in bed by 9:00 pm. As a result, we had to look at the offer in the morning with our realtor. Also, we had previously scheduled a buyer for our loveseat that morning and we had to hire people to load it onto the elderly buyer's truck. Angela knew full well that we had a viewing at 2:00 pm. She gave us until 10:00 am to respond to the lowball offer. By the time our realtor arrived, we had little time to go over the offer and get back to Angela. Our Realtor missed the 10:00 am deadline by about 5 minutes, so she asked for an extension and gave Angela until 5:00 pm to respond. Angela responded the her client was going to offer 1.275 million and that was their final offer!!! Also, Angela gave us until 2:00 pm to respond. We found errors in the application and we had to go over them. Ay the time Angela got back to our realtor, time was getting short to respond as we had to prepare our house for the viewing and take our two cats with us. Our printer was acting up and it took 30 minutes to get a printout to read. By this time, we had to take the offer with us and read it in the car. Of course, there were errors and discrepancies. As we were unable to make the 2:00 pm deadline, our realtor asked for an extension. In Angela's text, our realtor got a terse response that we had asked for too many extensions and that we would get no more extensions!!! She added that her client had sold his house and would go elsewhere. The problem with Angela's client's "My way, or the highway" negotiations was that he had a late closing. It is in the middle of July. We have a bridge mortgage that will cost us close to $30,000.00 as we have purchased another property. We agreed to that date, but apparently our negotiations were not good enough. As it turned out, Angela had many more errors and omissions in her last response. If we had of blindly signed it without reading it, we would have been sorry!!! So, what is the rush? Angela's clients had a lot of time to complete this deal, yet quashed it in 2 days of negotiating. It appears that Angela and her client purposely gave us short timelines to respond, especially the 2:00 pm deadline knowing full well that we had a viewing from another family who had sold their house. In my opinion, it was a blatant attempt to intimidate and pressure us into the seller's terms and to prevent another potential buyer from putting in an offer on our house. What Angela and her client don't realize is that the 2:00 pm offer would be a backup offer. We were not trying to undermine Angela's client's offer. If we wanted to get the other family to place an offer first, we could have shown our property before Angela's client started negotiations. But Angela's angry client made negotiations difficult. Our realtor said that Angela sounded stressed and her clients were stressed over this negotiation. Guess what Angela, we are stressed as well! But we are trying to make this sale work for both of us! How about calming down and getting back to negotiating? We don't know you and your client's personal situation and you are just starting to find out ours. Their are no bad guys here, just people who want to sell and buy properties. We were so close to finalizing the sale. Why spend all this time on viewing and negotiating, only to cancel the sale for an extension because of a short timeline?
