INCREDIBLY disappointed with this company. I merely asked for confirmation about what payment method they preferred and my clean was instantly cancelled. I have booked my appointment more than a month ago. According to the owner, Dave, he told me a month ago that he wanted cash. Now, because I wanted to confirm this a month later, he simply cancelled my booking as he didn't like the fact that I wanted to check on his payment preferences to ensure that I was ready when they came. I know! This sounds too ridiculous to be true?? I literally could not believe it. This clean was very important to me and to have it cancelled (too late now to book anyone else) , for simply checking on the payment method was beyond unbelievable and disappointing. I have no idea how a business is run this way. It would seem Dave would only do this job for cash(which I was happy to do) as he wanted to evade paying tax as according to him charging an exorbitant $320 (double what anyone else has EVER charged me) for a 4 bedroom house clean was too small a job to do the ethical thing and put it through his books. I agreed to pay this insane amount since I believed that this company would actually show up for the booking. I was willing to pay double for that reliability. Unfortunately I've been made the fool. If a company cancels bookings at will because a client asks for a simple confirmation of payment preference, I have to wonder if you can ever have peace of mind that they'll show up to the booking you made not matter how far in advance. read more
