My regular massage therapist had to cancel last minute and since I was in so much pain I booked a last minute massage here. I told the massage therapist that I had really aggravated my post concussion symptoms, so she thought a good idea would be applying pressure to the middle of my head and massaging that area. Not a good idea as it caused much further aggravation. I told my chiropractor, regular massage therapist, and family doctor what happened, and they were just absolutely baffled why a therapist would do that to a post concussion syndrome client and confirmed that this has what led to a major setback for me. I informed the office of what happened but no response. I'm sure this place is OK for relaxation massages but don't make the same mistake I did and come here for more serious muscular and nerve issues.

For 6 whole days I was taking cabs to work because walking hurt too much, I couldn't sleep and no amount of tiger balm and advil seemed to be helping. A friend suggested a massage, but I had never been for one before and was doubtful that it would really do much of anything. Regardless, I started searching around for a RMT and after reading the wonderful Yelp reviews, decided to give Gesund a shot. Despite being completely out of my element, my mind and worries were immediately put at ease upon entering the premises. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. My RMT, Yvonne, took the time to figure out where I was experiencing pain and explained what she was going to do to help me. She made me feel very comfortable and I could tell that she genuinely wanted to alleviate the pain that I was experiencing. It's remarkably evident that she loves what she does and that's she is exceptional at it. After my massage, Yvonne showed me techniques that I could do at home to continue treatment on my neck. She even sent me an e-mail recapping these techniques for my reference. By the next day my neck was almost 100% better and I couldn't be happier! I really appreciated how knowledgeable everyone was and understood my needs really well. I especially loved working with Devi. What I really loved about this clinic is that the employees really went above and beyond for me. A few months after I finished up my sessions, my sister was having a different issue and I recommended this clinic to her. Catherine at reception, invited her in for a free consultation the same day she called. After a few days, Catherine followed up with her to make sure she was doing okay and was extremely flexible in booking an appointment for her if she chose to do so. They were also very honest in assessing her noting that the issue she had was not a muscle issue and therfor could not be resolved with physiotherapy.
