I have rented from this place for quite a few years now . They are always fair on prices and don't charge you all kinds of hidden fees , I have rented tractors , skid steers, dump trailers , floor scrapers .. they were all are reasonably priced , the staff shows you how to make things work if you ask. I have never had a problem with their equipment. I will continue to use them any time I can and I would recommend them in a hart beat ! read more

Do not use this company!!! They charge fees for stupid things. I rented a lift and they mentioned I needed a Ball latch to move the lift. When I showed up with a 1 7/8" Ball hitch, they said, "nope, cant use that one, it has to be 2". I had to go get one and they end up charging me for their "wait time". Their driver had no problem sitting in his truck doing absolutely nothing until we had a specific size ball hitch. He wouldnt unhook the lift, set it up, nothing..... until it arrived. When we came back, he didnt even bother to check if we got the right size, he just proceeded to unhook the lift. Look at their past reviews.....just find another rental company. read more

Was told to try them out. Talked to Steve the day prior regarding the trailer I need, he mentioned a few specific trucks that are required to tow the trailer. My friend said he can tow it, so I made reservation for Steve to hold it for ($50), which was about 2 1/2 hours prior to closing the day before, and said that it's not refundable. The next morning (10AM) I went to pick it up, and I can sense already a rude behavior from this guy (Steve) with my 1 yr old daughter in my hand. He seen my buddy show up with his truck, and said this truck is not qualified for the trailer I had put on hold. So I ask if he had another trailer that would work, he said he did but he will keep the $50 since I decided to change trailers. Total BS, especially since I was a first time customer there, and definitely was my last time getting anything from there. He could have easily waved it and give my money back. But if this is how he treads first time customers especially since it was a sincere (not fake) mistake. My friend that has been going there for some time, was pretty disappointed in Steve as well, and even he said not sure what this dudes problem was. Just simply rude and I will let my folks know to avoid this place. And again, I do get it that it's a business, but this is not how I would tread my (especially) 1st time customers. I also had spoken to him 3 times the day before, so he knew I wanted to do it correctly in trying to get the correct Truck. It's not about the $50 that I writing this review about, It's about treating your especially 1st time customers with respect, and you want them to come back. The way Steve handled this situation I will give him an F. Since I won't be returning to do any business with him. And of course out of an perfect book of excuses he pulled the (someone came at 9 am and tried to rent it but it was put on hold for me so he couldn't rent it out). Crooks delivered me a hydraulic hose With still wire sticking out. Before leaving I mentioned to them as he had told me a pinch line would cost 150 to replace. Told me it would be fine and no need to stress about it. 30 min latter as getting the job started the line pops with a small hire line leak next to the hydraulics connection. Now charging me $250. Rented a Kubota skiploader for a day. They brought it out with a tire leaking air. Within 30 minutes of use it was flat. Took more than 5 hours for them to bring out a spare. Lost more than half my work day. Nothing done to make it right. Edit: I was understandably irate over the situation but to act as if I ended the call and you guys came up with a solution after is a blatant lie. I discussed all possible options with your guy and ended up agreeing on you guys coming out to repair the tire. To act as if I just hung up is ridiculous. As I said in the edit to my Google review post fotos of the condition of the tire, but considering the dishonesty in your reply you'd probably post a brand new tire. Very rude and extremely unprofessional price for concrete was the going rate the service was very unprofessional Also got charged $53 for being seven minutes late. I would not recommend this business unless you absolutely need something. You can get somewhere else. read more

They rented me a Backhoe and a good price (Home Depot are scavengers) which had an issue (not their fault, Kubota's) and when they couldn't replace it with one of their own, they went well out of their way to make it right by finding me one from someone else. To the point of handling the fact the other company were 1/2 a$$ed for me. I'm pretty sure RER got screwed in the deal, yet they still came through true to their word. Before renting.a Penske Truck from this location, I tried getting a Uhaul from the gas station around the corner. After waiting there for about 15 minutes only to find out they no longer had the truck I called on, I came to Ready Equipment Rentals instead. In less than the time I waited at the other place, I was on the road in a bigger truck with a lift gate in the back. That lift-gate was a lifesaver and I'm so glad that things worked out the way they did. The staff here are professional and friendly. I was shown how to operate the lift gate and explained what I needed to do for returning the truck. Everything inside the store was clean and in its proper place. I would recommend them for any rental needs that you have. read more

A truly amazing experience and so easy. We found their ad on Craigslist and gave them a call to rent out one of their Kubota Tractors. The guy on the phone was so nice and helpful, we explained that we have a bit of land that needs to be leveled and he recommended the right tractor for us. Then 2 Days later they delivered it and picked it up, so convenient as we didn't have a truck big enough to tow it. The tractor was in excellent condition and the guy that dropped it off took the time to give my fiancé a little tutorial on how to use it and like the guy on the phone said it was very easy to use. Came in here for their weekend special they advertised to rent a tractor for two days. They no longer had the tractor advertised so offered a simliar more expensive one. Then they failed to mention that despite it sitting on your property for 48 hours over the weekend, your only allowed 8 hours of runtime. When I checked my bank next week they charged me for extra run time, and extra insurance, all without ever even notifying me. Went to the office to contest it and they were nice enough to show me the back of the contract in the tiny writing along with the usual liability clause where it shows you only get 8 hours. read more

This place sucks. They offer day rentals but are closed on Sundays so you can't return if you rent it on a Saturday. They also do not have an after hour drop where u can return small/medium rentals. On top of this the tool was not maintained/cleaned from Pryor rental. I had to clean, tighten, and grease it myself. And the kicker they charged me a half day rental for them being closed on Sunday on a rental I got for a day. No way will I go back to this run down, poverty infested, cheap tools at outrageous prices, shady business practices located in shitty San Bernardino and you shouldn't either. read more

I rented a 5/8" sewer snake from Ready Equipment Rental yesterday. The cost was $44.00 for four hours minimum. They also offered an insurance on the equipment which I purchased for $4.40 more. They required an additional $100.00 security deposit. So in total my bank account was debited $148.40 immediately when I rented the snake. The snake was in great working order. I was able to use it and return it in 2hours 15 minutes. The salesman took it back and issued a reciept, and said my deposit of $100.00 had been returned. Not so. Today I called and spoke with the same salesman who now said it is commonly a three business day process for the company Ready Equipment Rental contracts with to return security deposits. Who are the people who typically DIY sewer plumbing? People who need to save a buck where they can, even if it's a dirty job. And that's the case with me. Tell people you will have their money for days after. 1. Honesty is the best policy. 2. There's a possibility your customer doesn't want to or doesn't have the budget to in effect "loan" your card company their money for days. Update- My deposit was returned today, three days from the transaction on Thursday. So my deposit was held for 2 days. read more

I've rented from Steve a few times already. His pricing is the best around town especially when it comes to bigger equipment like the Bobcats or Kubota tractors. Your alternatives are bigger rental stores or Home Depot which charge 30-40% more then the prices here. I did have an issue one time with a tractor but that was due to the previous renter. Steve was willing to work things out with me in a fair manner and get me going again. read more
