I wrongly thought that they had discolored a brand new clothing item and was very upset. I brought it back to A2Z and went to Lakeside to speak to the owner. I was very upset and Ms. Thui promised if she couldn't correct the problem, she would buy me another one. Well, she was so determined to make me happy, she personally drove to the store where I bought the item and called to let me know she purchased a new one and it was at the shop waiting to be picked up. When I showed up, Ms. Thui wasn't there, but when her employee presented me with the new item, it was clear that it was exactly the same color as the original one-- there had been no discoloration or fading whatsoever and she had still bought me a new one to make me a happy customer. I wouldn't take the new one because I was totally wrong but they still treated me with kindness and respect. I want everyone to know that not only do they do a great job at these two cleaners, they have top notch customer service and integrity. Both my husband and I wear suits to work and HAVE to have them ready when we're told they will be ready. However, there have been at least 3 occasions where our suits weren't ready when promised. My husband and I are pretty laid back so we didn't complain and made it work. When it happened the last time, we finally told them they needed to do something to make it right. That's when we were given FOUR different excuses as to why our clothes weren't ready. The worst excuse was when they lied saying the suits weren't ready because "I told them I didn't need them to be ready." My husband picked it up, and as he was walking out, the owner asked him to pay. When my husband told him that he had already been notified it was free of charge, the owner insisted he still pay. So, they received their $19.00, but will not get another dime from me in the future. I should have called it quits after my clothes started coming back with stains on them. I wanted to like this place because it's so close to my house and the staff is very friendly. But I'm never going back.
