We never received a pool key when we moved in and it took several months before we got it (which is fine since the pool didn't open until end of May). We just tried the pool key and it doesn't even open the gate... The guy that originally set up our lease agreement is the only person who has been kind enough to help us with anything, even though its not his job but he seems to be the only one capable of being competent enough to do anything. Here's the kicker, I flew in from New York missed my flight and when I finally got there and was able to get on the property Elva rushed me to look through the house I couldn't even review my inspection notes thoroughly because she had reservations at...... OLIVE GARDEN..... this just left a very sour taste in my mouth as I was very put off by the unprofessionalism and the lack of empathy of me flying across the country to see this property she didn't even care. Which is why before the day ended I signed all the papers for release of earnest and termination of contract never working with these people again! stay clear of these people as they are in cahoots with the sellers and have only the sellers best interest. Before moving into the apartment in February of 2018 a formal complaint was submitted to corporate concerning the racist profiling from the property manager. The manager has never been pleasant and refuses to speak directly to me. If I am trying to speak with her regarding the property or unit she will ask the assistant manager who is a woman of color to tell me her responses as if I am not in the room. For examhave asked that the groundskeepers trim the bushes and keep up the ground regularly around the buildings and pool. This was a reasonable request. After all, the name of the community is "Mansfield on The Green". After going to school, obtaining multiple degrees and certifications it saddens me to see that some people still see African American men as threats. In addition, becoming a prominent figure in the community I would have never expected to relocate back to Texas and experience such treatment. My hope is that no one experiences this level of disrespect, but that all African Americans are treated equally. As long as this manager is at the property I would not recommend Mansfield on The Green to anyone.

BEWARE!! Brian Ruiz (the owner) lied to me and stole from me. I was looking to buy a piece of…read moreproperty from him - Brian's listing for that piece of property stated that the property had a CLEAN TITLE. However, it did NOT have a clean title, it had a SALVAGE title - something which Brian later admitted that he KNEW ABOUT the whole time. In other words, Brian **knowingly** FALSELY ADVERTISED the title as a being a clean title. He never disclosed to me that it was SALVAGE until I later found out for myself and confronted him about it! Prior to me finding that out, I had already paid Brian a $3000 deposit through a bank-to-bank wire transfer (it turns out that wire transfers can't be reversed by the bank, by the way). It wasn't until AFTER Brian had my $3k in his pocket that he provided me the VIN number, which then allowed me to do my own due diligence research into the title status. It was only through my own due diligence that I found out that the title was a SALVAGE TITLE!! So by the time I found out it was SALVAGE title, Brian already had $3000 of my money in his pocket. I contacted him immediately and informed him that I had discovered it was a SALVAGE title, NOT a clean title. I assumed good intent on his part at first and politely asked him to refund my deposit. He refused. I then called him out directly for misrepresenting the title as clean when in fact it's salvage, and I reiterated my request for a refund of my deposit. He responded with, "Just forget it. You just wasted a month of my time. You should be happy I don't invoice you for that." SEE THE SCREENSHOT ATTACHED TO THIS REVIEW!! I then proceeded to ask him yet again to refund my deposit. In response, he tried to coerce me into still completing my purchase from him within 3 days, even though I had just learned that it was a salvage title, which he had NEVER DISCLOSED!! And he also told me that I could sue him if I want!! Again, CHECK THE SCREENSHOT!! If I could give Brian negative one zillion stars, I would. The moral of the story here is this: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH BRIAN RUIZ!! Btw, "Brian" is actually his middle name - his first name is Jonathan. Which is why he's listed as Jonathan (Brian) Ruiz in my screenshot. He owns several businesses in the Dallas area, so everyone please BE CAREFUL OF THIS GUY!!
