Dr McDonald then explained he didn't see any major injury but after questioning me, was concerned about a possible blood clot. He then referred me to the ER to rule out this possibility of a blood clot & further suggested I see an orthopedist for the knee pain From beginning to end the care I received was thorough & professional. At 9:48am, the doctor strolls in. No introduction as to who she is and no apologies about the wait time. Then goes to tell me I just need to stretch due to my serve back pain and can barley bend over to attempt to touch my toes. No common curtesy of wasting my time when I had to be at work for 10am, WHICH WAS A 20 MINUTE DRIVE. This is why I even scheduled an 8:30am appointment to make it to work on time. After "diagnosing" after a 3 minute appointment, I walk out and one of the nurses is just taking a casual nap at the nurses station!! What joke this place is!! Frankly, as someone who has worked on the other side of a…read moremedical office counter, I think it's a bit silly for folks to expect to be seen immediately as if other patients aren't also due time and attention when their concerns or questions might run long, for doctors not to book out in advance, and to not have some patience with customer service folks. People are difficult to deal with, and these folks have to deal with many people who are not feeling well, who are often navigating a tangle of insurance and stressed out, and who are probably snapping at the CSR because of it. I always give the benefit of the doubt with customer service folks, especially in healthcare - it is NOT an easy job! And in my experience, I most often get what I give as far as how I am treated. As for my medical experiences, I've been an Acton Medical patient for almost my entire life, and I have had very solid experiences with them throughout - especially of late. Dr. Natalie Cohen has developed a solid and trusting doctor-patient relationship with me, making meaningful notes about our conversations so she can follow up next time, never making me feel like she is in a rush, asking about and making suggestions for the health of my whole self, and truly listening and making me feel like she is honestly invested in my well being. She's a rare breed these days when many other doctors have made me feel like they just needed to check off the boxes and get into the next exam room.

I was able to book an appointment for the same hour, and the front desk was super flexible when I was running late. Once I arrived, I was taken in within 2 mins and brought to a clean, private space. Aidan was amazing and truly took the time listen, ask follow-up questions, and let me know what to expect for the remainder of the visit. He is a gem and his personality helped make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Gold took the time to go through my history, every single noted symptom as well as some I hadn't even mentioned. He took his time with the physical exam, even double checking and making sure not to miss anything. They ran a rapid strep, flu, and Covid test as well as a chest x-ray on-site, with the results given within 10 minutes. My only regret is waiting as long as I did to be seen because, unfortunately, there was nothing they could treat me for. I will not hesitate to return in the future.

I was in an out by 6:00 with a letter for my employer and only down $60! In the time between when I walked in and when I left, the doctor probably saw about 4 or 5 patients and was still very friendly, kind, and helpful to me, taking his time in asking questions and listening to my answers.
