By far the worst service in America today! They kept missing my deliveries, every delivery day was something like "sorry we missed you, you've been rescheduled", and then they would miss me again on the rescheduled day, over and over, for weeks. This means that I had to be putting the bottles outside in the morning only to have to enter them back in (empty) in the afternoon. I had enough and decided to cancel and oh boy! It's been more than a month (after several calls to cancel) and still all the empty bottles and the dispenser are in my home, every-time I call they say that today somebody will pick it up but so far nothing. Furthermore, they did not deliver anything the last time but still charge me full price and they are refusing to reimburse me the money. I've been a loyal customer of Ready Refresh (now Primo) for nearly 4 1/2 years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Back in October, our area was hit by Hurricane Milton, and unfortunately, our home flooded. We lost everything, including the water dispenser we were renting from them. I called customer service to cancel the service, but instead, we agreed to pause deliveries until February. During that conversation, I also mentioned that the machine had been lost in the flood, and the representative assured me that I had nothing to worry about. Fast forward to now--I no longer need the service and called to officially close my account, only to be hit with a $108 charge for the lost dispenser. I was shocked because I had been paying $2.42 per month for the rental over 4 1/2 years, which adds up to about $138. According to their policy, that monthly fee wasn't actually going toward ownership, but rather, some kind of "insurance" for the machine. And yet, somehow, a natural disaster doesn't count as damage coverage? How does that make any sense?! I expected better customer service from a company I had been with for years. Instead of being understanding and reasonable, they stuck me with a fee after misleading me into thinking I was covered. This entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I would never recommend them to anyone. If you're considering Ready Refresh/Primo, think twice. I have been a customer for nearly 10 years and I have not one complaint. My mother had trouble reaching them during COVID and went with the service through Costco and it's been one issue after another. Reading the reviews, many people seem to be venting about problems throughout the pandemic. This is to be expected. Are these folks living under a rock? Supply chain and employment issues have been at an all-time high for like two years. Gimme a break. My one complaint is that I'm quite sure I read that they will be charging for contact with customer care now. Like all call centers, I'm guessing they are moving toward online and automated only. it seems that Zephyrhills used to deliver their own water (or perhaps a 3rd party did it under their name) and then something changed a year or two ago. Deliveries used to be reasonable. However, my sense is that a private equity decided that they could be more profitable by optimizing the routes and increasing prices. As a result, consumers are left with frequent cancellations / movements of delivery dates and no ability to do anything on the customer side. (This is echoed by other reviews.). The problem is, you can't have it both ways. You can't significantly increase your price and then cut the quality of your product and hope to have a chance of success. (And, that is ignoring the customer support, which they have gutted to increase profitability.) It really is a shame, as this business model will not survive and someone is going to be holding a lot of debt which becomes worthless because it is being run by inept managers. In the meantime, buy your water at an alternative retailer at a much lower cost (which is what we have done). I realize that isn't necessarily easy for those who are older or have some health issues. But, perhaps you can ask a friend to help out. Definitely don't go with this company, as they will fold within the next couple of years and you will assuredly never get your deposits back. read more

Ready Fresh merged with Primo water and have been using that excuse for months as to why they can't make my deliveries on schedule, leaving us with no water! Ready refresh was amazing for the very first couple months and then it has gone downhill dramatically. They deliver extra bottles when you're not even supposed to get a delivery and they don't pick up your empties when you ask them to. At one point I had 20 bottles stored at my house because they would keep delivering, but they would not take the empties I had sitting out because they said they had no room. I have been fighting for months to have them pick up their stuff so I can change vendors, but I am still struggling and holding on to their bottles. This company has terrible delivery! They post a delivery date and then they either don't show up or they deliver on a different day. I get stuck with my empty bottles and nowhere to store them! I would go with a different company, but Ready Refresh is the only company that delivers! Buyer beware! We were intercepted while shopping at Sam's club, by a rep with Ready Refresh. The rep offered a special promotion that made the decision of purchasing more bottled water seem like it was ridiculous. As the rep signed us up, she asked if I wanted purified water, or spring. I told her that I will not drink purified water, that I only drink spring water. She said "not a problem" as she hurried up signing us up. Before we finalized the purchase, I asked her to make sure it was spring water, she said yes it was spring water. The delivery date was over a week later, so I checked on the order in the app about 5 or 6 days out from delivery. They had purified water on the delivery order. I changed it to spring water, upset but glad I caught the issue before delivery. The water with dispenser was delivered two days ago, with purified water! I tried contacting anyone in the company, I work until 530pm, the close at 6, but I tried reaching out roughly at 545pm, couldn't reach anyone, so I messaged them on the app. Still no reply about my message. So I tried again today, an agent finally got on the chat option (no contact phone number on the app or option to call, you have to look it up online). The agent quickly told me to call during business hours 8 am - 6pm Monday- Friday. I said that wasn't good enough, we needed to handle this now! The agent (while I was writing a response) sent a "seems that you stepped away, we're disconnecting the chat now" message, then abruptly ended the chat. I had only sent 30 seconds writing my reply, by the way. The agent did say that since we're under contract (which we were told at Sam's, by the agent, that we can cancel anytime for any reason) yet the agent couldn't cancel our subscription. This is one of the companies people should avoid. They have horrible customer service, and they will mislead you to sign up. I have been a customer of ready refresh for almost 3 years. They were great up until the start of COVID, and then got even worse once they were consumed by Nestle. Now I am an unwilling customer because I can't get ahold of anyone to cancel my account! Their prices kept rising significantly, while their service got worse. On my last 3 deliveries, the driver delivered more than what was set up in my recurring order that has not changed in 3 YEARS. My credit card was debited for the extra 5 gallon water jugs and cases of water every time, even though I never asked for it. I would have to fight through their customer service system to register a complaint and request a refund. This last time they didn't even refund my card, they just credited my account - an account I told them via their app I wanted to close! Their response was to tell me to call the customer service line. You call any time during their business hours and you are told that their customer service associates are not available and to email them. So you go to email them through the app and it says to call customer service!!! I have skipped all future scheduled deliveries in an effort to just end this stupid frustrating cycle, but I rented one of their coolers, and they won't let me remove my credit card info from their auto pay, so I am being charged against my will at this point and forced to keep this going, because there is no way to break through their system. Steer clear of this service unless you want to be signed up for the foreseeable future being charged for items you don't want and forced to continue paying for a service you can't get out of. read more

I DO NOT recommend using ReadyRefresh. I sent this email earlier today (12/1/22): This email is a follow up to a phone call I just completed with your Customer Service rep. In the call, I cancelled my first and only re-supply delivery and closed my ReadyRefresh account. Because the CS rep did not seem very interested in why I took these actions, I thought I would write you as a courtesy. The first reason is failure to deliver as promised. As the two attachments show, my water delivery has been rescheduled every day this week. This morning, I received notice that today's delivery would be tomorrow. There was no explanation offered. The original date for delivery was Monday, November 28. Although you failed to deliver water, you did not fail to bill my credit card for the water that was not delivered. So, ReadyRefresh's inability to provide a product that I paid was one reason for cancelling my order and closing my account. A second reason is poor customer relations. The layout of your website and the options available made it clear to me that ReadyRefresh does not want customers calling to speak with a representative. If your contact phone numbers are posted on your website, you have done a remarkable job of making them impossible to find. Yesterday (Nov 30), I resorted to an internet query to finally find a phone number. When I called, I spoke with someone who was obviously in an overseas call center, because I could barely understand what was being said. I was transferred to someone that was likely in the US who then swore to me that we would have delivery today and that we would be put at the "top of the priority list." Neither of these has taken place. This morning, I searched the internet and found several other home water delivery services in my area (Tampa, FL). Phone numbers were on the opening page of websites. I called and found another provider, and interestingly enough, after describing my frustration with a previous provider (you, ReadyRefresh) the rep on the phone was able to guess that it was in fact ReadyRefresh. My impression is that ReadyRefresh has many dissatisfied former customers like me who are happy to find functional alternatives. Several years ago, we purchased home-delivered bottled water from Zephyrhills. We discontinued because we just weren't drinking as much as we thought. Delivery was always on-time. But then, Zephyrhills conducted their own deliveries and did not contract it out to an incompetent and unresponsive company like ReadyRefresh. The Zephyrhills product is a good one. I had been a customer of Zephyrhills Spring Water for almost 30 years when they sold out to Ready Refresh. Initially, there did not appear to be any change in the service. Unfortunately, over the last two years, the service has gradually declined. Over the past year, Ready Refresh has NOT been able to deliver water on the date promised. The deliver was anywhere from five days to two weeks late. In October, I checked on the date of the November delivery and found that would be November 23. Needless to say.there was no delivery on the 23rd, 28th, or today. When I called the company, I was told that there was no delivery because my delivery has been changed to once every two week. It is now scheduled for Dec. 26th. I don't have enough water to last another month but the customer service representative could only apologies. The computer system was not fully operational so could not schedule an extra delivery. She told me to call back in a day or two.
