Huevos Rancheros were so good!! The sauce for the eggs was fresh, tortillas were homemade, customer service was on point !! Coffee yummy. Will be coming back when we're in town!!

super Burrito De asada

I had been coming here for years when my grandmother lived across the street and was excited to finally have some food that would make me feel nostalgic but sadly that was not the case. I ordered a super burrito de asada and the meat is like ground beef consistently and way too salty. It hurts to write this review because I used to absolutely love their food

I've only been here once but it was awesome! My regular spot in watsonville was closed so a buddy took me here, yes! It's a small place with just a few tables but the food is excellent. I had the carne asada enchilada's and they were great! The carne asada was cooked in a tasty sauce, wrapped in corn tortillas, smothered with a home made mole sauce, topped with cheese, broiled to molten perfection! I had just rice (no beans) and they put a little salad in the plate for fun. The rice was exceptional and had some peas mixed in, unusual but delicious! Chips and salsa came with our meal and they were great too. The salsa was just the right heat, made me sweat! I'm not in watsonville often but this place is on my kick ass Mexican eats list from now on! Give'em a try!

I was traveling by and I decided to stop by this city to check it out and also from my experience small cities have the best food. When I parked, I started looking for a place to eat and then I found this Mexican food restaurant. At first I had trouble physically finding it, but then I asked someone and they pointed me to a door. I would never guess that this restaurant was there. When I walked it I felt this cozy atmosphere there. Then i sat my self at the table. Then in about thirty second a weighters came up to me. She had a patience to explain to me what's good they have on the menu. So I ordered 4 small tacos and a torta with drink. Those tacos were delicious one of the good ones. Then later on they brought me a torta. The bread was crispy, there was a lot of beef inside and it also came with a side of the French fries. I haven't regretted that I went to dine here everything was amazing. Employees were nice. Got a good service and good food I would highly reccomend visit this place if you gonna be there in town

AUTHENTIC Best home made corn & flour tortillas in the entire bay & central coast. Love their Birria & Caldo de Pollo & Breakfast dishes are the bomb! The place isn't very pretty & the parking is a drag but the good makes it all with it. FYI: waitress are not very fluent in English, so bring a Spanish speaking buddy with you... :) My 5star rating is based strictly on food quality!!!! Try & rate!

I typically come here with my family after Sunday morning mass and devour a delicious plate of chilaquiles, enchiladas, or whatever I was in the mood for that morning. Prices are inexpensive, food is good and the Staff is helpful.

The food is affordable, portions are solid, and the flavor tastes homemade and authentic. The $10 super burrito is honestly one of the better deals around right now packed, filling, and actually satisfying. The burrito itself had great flavor, a good size, and definitely didn't feel skimpy. Glad they opened the second location on Main Street too. Nice to see a local spot expanding while still keeping the quality and prices reasonable.

The restaurant is an open space, it has a lot of seating options and since we came right when they open, they told us to sit wherever we want. We sat at one of the corners (if you want a little privacy that's the section you can choose). This is way different from all the Mexican restaurants I've been to. You have to go to the cashier and order and pay your foods at the same time. Which is a bit easier to do I guess. Then your food will be delivered to you at your table. I ordered a chicken enchilada. It's good for the price. My friends ordered different dishes and they loved it. They have clean bathrooms which is a plus. The only thing I would like to say is that the cashier that time was probably having a bad day coz she was giving us an attitude. Maybe next time, if you're going to be the face of the business, make sure you are pleasant to talk to

We were 2 adults 2 kids. they give complementary chips and salsa. mind you the salsa bowl was so small we had to ask for 3-4 refills during our dinner, which was kind of let down since you had to wait until someone either checks on you or you somehow manage to get their attention Food was good nothing extraordinary based on what we order. veggie tacos and from kids menu bean and cheese burrito and Enchiladas (somehow order got mixed up and we got cheese qusedilla instead) Drinks were good.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful traditional building with a lot of character. I really enjoyed the ambiance and decor, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was busy, they were able to seat us right away. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of options. We started with the complimentary chips and salsa, which were both good. The salsa had a nice flavor, and the chips were fresh. We also ordered the nachos as an appetizer. For our entrees, I ordered Combo Plate #6, which included a chile verde burrito, a cheese enchilada, and a carne asada taco. We also ordered a carne asada taco plate with a cheese enchilada and a chimichanga. When the food arrived, the presentation was impressive, and the portions were very generous. Unfortunately, this is where our experience started to decline. The rice and beans were good, but the chile verde burrito was quite dry. The pork lacked tenderness and was overcooked. The cheese enchilada was decent, though not particularly memorable. The carne asada taco was also disappointing. While the tortilla was excellent and the meat was well-seasoned, the steak itself was very fatty and undercooked. In fact, no one at our table was able to finish their steak tacos because of the quality of the meat. The chimichanga was another letdown. It arrived covered in sauce like a wet burrito, which eliminated the crispy texture you would expect from a chimichanga. As a result, it became soggy and still somehow tasted dry inside. The highlight of the meal was definitely the nachos--simple, flavorful, and enjoyable. The service was also very good. Our server was attentive, regularly refilling our drinks and bringing additional chips without us having to ask. Overall, we really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. I probably wouldn't return for dinner, but I would consider stopping by for happy hour, some nachos or appetizers, and to enjoy the ambiance.
