I even left them poor reviews years ago. The seller's Realtor must have picked them, it was a Palm Beach file where seller picks title. For one, we called in the begining to confirm the buyer settlement fee on a cash deal where seller picked title, it was high, but lower than if the buyer got an attorney. Buyer decided to use them against my suggestion of having counsel. HUD comes out, at 4:30pm the day before closing charging them more than that number they gave me and $150 more than the attorney would have even charged! I call it out and they acted like nothing happened and that they can see if they can have management approval to reduce the standard fee. I said that was not what they told me, because if it was, why would the buyer not have used an attorney. To prove this... I had my agent friend call and she confirmed again with someone at the office the same number I was told initially. So I knew I wasn't losing it. They get back and said the reduced fee was approved. There was nothing to approve, they tried to get away with charging way more than they said they would. They even charge the buyer more than the seller. Unheard of for a cash deal in PB. Buyer wasn't even given their cash to close or closing notary appointment made until like 4:30pm the day before closing. They never even called the buyer once through the transaction! I sent them all the info day one, and express directions to contact them directly as they had no attorney. That's their job, they certainly were charging for it. They then blamed me because I never got them "their info sheet" with their contact info until 10 days before closing. But regardless they still never call! lol...They even confirmed the email I sent on day one with all the info for the Buyer's. It was a cash deal on a file where most title companies don't even charge a fee to a cash buyer, they did, then tried to raise it sneakily, and didn't even call the buyer or communicate with them, and charged the seller LESS! When everything they did was a Seller Function. I have so much more but I'm done. I refuse to stay silent anymore when people don't do their job and act this way. Unacceptable. As you see, how does a company have so many bad reviews!?

Calls often go unanswered. When you do try to call, no one answers, or you are left on hold for hours sometimes up to two hours only for someone to finally pick up and then hang up the call. It is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of people's time. Even when you manage to speak with someone, it quickly becomes clear that no one in the office is actually able or willing to resolve the issue. You are passed around or left without any real solution. What is even more concerning is that this company withdrew an association payment directly from my bank account without my authorization. I do not have automatic payments set up, and the payment was not even close to being due. There is absolutely no justification for taking money from someone's account under these circumstances. This is a serious breach of trust and raises major concerns about how they handle residents' financial information. the staff shows little to no empathy or professionalism when addressing concerns. Instead of feeling supported as a resident, I feel ignored, disrespected, and taken advantage of. Overall, the level of service provided is unacceptable and far below basic standards for property management. I would strongly caution others against doing business with this company.

Therefore, I knew I needed a property management company to handle those unique set of challenges in my absence. I had researched many properties management companies online in the Fort Lauderdale area. I happened to come across Icon Realty Management and Brokerage. After reading the great reviews and my conversation with Ben and finally meeting him at the property. I decided to have them manage my property. Within 2 days of Icon Realty having the property in their listings, it was rented on day 2 (two). Ben, At Icon Realty has truly been professional and responsive thought the whole process. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

    The webinar on Condo Board Meetings was very thorough. It brought up many issues that our board has…read morefaced in the past. One issue that has been a challenge is when a particular few owners are repeatedly disruptive during our Board Meetings. They behave inappropriately and unprofessionally and become hostile at every meeting. We have been advised to simply thank them for their input and gently move on. Hearing about Civility Codes for meetings and whenever in common areas is brilliant. It just so happens that we are in the process of updating the Condo Rules & Regulations and will be discussing it with the other board members. The questions that the attendees asked were thoroughly answered by the Speaker during the webinar. Under FL State rules, board members must take a course each year. I would gladly attend another one of Affinity's webinar. Well done. Thank you.

    This company is horrendous. I concur with the majority of comments with regards to responsiveness…read moreand customer service, both are poor at best. Security has been a major issue as I have had two unidentified individuals come directly to my apartment without being checked in by security. I still do not know the identity of one individual and had to file a police report. I have had no explanation from management. Instead, they leave all main gates open during the day and their response to me was becuase constantly opening and closing them for landscaping would take a long time. Instead, they are left open all day, unsupervised, just inviting trespassers in the south of fifth neighborhood. They also do not respond to the many broken fountains on the property that are collecting water and have become breeding grounds for mosqiutos. Instead of addressing the problems, they placed chlorine tablets in the non-working fountains. Not only does that not kill mosquito larvae, it poses health risks. As I open my front door now I am greeted by the pungent smell of chemicals. Maintenance personal are rude and disrespectful and very unprofessional. I can tell this stems from management as they are just as rude and disrespectful. Maintenance staff has begun to park their vehicles behind the property in an area that is not meant to be a parking lot. This makes the property look like a used car lot with old, dilapidated vehicles and motorcycles clogging up the area. This is only the beginning of the list, but since they have taken over the property has gone completely downhill.
