This place is really really bad. They just rushed through cleanings. They do not have any attention to detail. I don't know how I let them clean several several times thinking it would be better, I do not recommend. They do a half dust job a half mop that just leaves residue in the places that they do mop they smear your windows not actually clean them, rooms that were supposed to be dusted Have caked on dust on the lights on top of the pictures, etc., and I literally clean the house before they get here thinking they can do the stuff that I don't wanna do like these things. The cabinets will be half wiped down. Tables may be wiped down on the top but food on the side not wiped off, they're supposed to clean the bathroom, but there's a pee streak on the wall where I have a little boy that missed next to the toilet that was never cleaned off. and this is multiple multiple times I thought "hey I'll just let them know, Please do a better job" and they'll do it and still nothing. I've had the same people. Maybe it's different with other Crews, but I don't know. Use at your own risk, but wouldn't recommend it if you have kids. My siblings and I hired Real World Cleaning Services to do on our family home after my Dad passed away. We knew this was going to be a big, dirty, job and thought it best to let the professionals handle it. We set an appointment for a deep cleaning, which we were instructed it would be at least a 3 hour minimum job if not more and we readily agreed. We ask them to focus on 3 rooms, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The indicated they would clean the room from top to bottom, which included for the kitchen and dining room: dry wiping the walls and floor boards, clean the ceiling fan, windowsills, counter-tops, dusting, mopping/vacuuming the floor. Since we wanted the inside of the cupboards done we were told they had to be emptied out, which we did. We even moved a large hutch away from the wall so that they could clean the top of it and also get behind it as well. For the bathroom they would dry wipe walls and baseboards, windowsills, mop floors and clean toilet, sink, and shower along with mirrors. On the day of the appointment two people showed up for the job, but only stayed 2.25 hours and did a very poor job. See pictures where they did not clean out the empty kitchen cupboards and left mouse droppings and dirt in there, dust webs still on the wall, windowsill, top of refrigerator, top of the hutch, knocked one side of the full-length mirror off the wall in the bathroom and on and on. We were extremely disappointed. When we contacted the company they wanted to come back out and redo the job but that wasn't possible because the house was now being occupied, we were working on a very short timeline. Since they could not redo the cleaning, which in all honesty, we didn't want at this point, we requested a 50% refund of the fee we paid. We have called multiple times and emailed them twice and have gotten no response and the cleaning was completed on August 24, 2020. Please proceed with caution when using this company as I would hate for you to waste your hard earned money as my family and I did. read more

I am moving into a new house and wanted a good deep clean. I did NOT get that. I honestly don't even know what they did there for 3 hours!! They asked me if everything looked alright, (I hadn't gone upstairs yet) I told them the windows weren't done, they said ok. I went upstairs, it looked almost exactly the same as before, like all they had done was run a vacuum through!! I went back downstairs to check the windows, only a bit better. We recently had Real World Cleaning come do the "move in" clean to our empty house. We were out of town and wanted to get our new house cleaned so that we could get started painting right away when we returned. The upfront interaction with Real World Cleaning Services, scheduling and coordinating, was really easy and great. But after getting home, we realized that many things were not cleaned well or even at all in places. There were a few long spider webs from fans to blinds and in corners, blinds were all dusty, baseboards and registers were dusty, the hardwood floors had some things not swept up, cabinets needed cleaned again. There were some other things like windows that weren't cleaned but I don't know if that was supposed to be done with my package. I was offered to have someone come back out but we had to just clean the areas ourselves because we are really in a time crunch. We were offered an apology but no refund of any type. I would not recommend using this company if you were on a tight timeline or need a guaranteed flawless job. I'm sure many of their employees there would do an amazing job. I can only speak to the experience I had. Pros: The up front interaction was lovely, cost was good if they had done what was agreed upon. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with Real World. The cleaners tried to leave 15 minutes early from a 1 hour cleaning time. They also tracked mud on the carpet, called their manager and said that the carpet was already dirty, and then did not clean it. When I spoke to the manager and cleaner again they were both incredibly rude, told me I had no proof, and did not take any ownership. I was also not offered any reasonable remedies including simply cleaning the carpet or a refund. Would definitely not recommend using this company. Let me say up front that the gals who clean are the best I've ever had. However, beware of the pricing. Some folks are charged a flat fee. Others are charged by the hour. We temporarily moved to a small apartment and paid the same amount as our 1695 sq. ft. home. We then moved to new house that was smaller than the first house, nearly the same distance from the home office and our rate was raised by $42! The reasoning 1) it's a new house (?) 2) It's farther away. (5 minutes farther on Google maps) 3) It's bigger (wrong again, 300 sq. feet smaller 4) inflation (52% inflation rate? Our raise was 52%) 4) Given no advanced notice. Apparently the company has a new computer app that decided how much we should pay. "The computer said that's what we should charge." Longevity, loyalty and referring other clients isn't in the computer app. Real World asks for your trust? That's not in the app either. What would I have done were I the owner of this company? I would grand-father in the loyal clients, raise their price 10% which is 5 times inflation, and charge new clients the computer fee. I would also add a humanistic piece to the formula, longevity and referrals. I will miss our gals very much. read more

Do NOT hire them. Like others, I trusted their seemingly positive reviews despite their 3.7 rating on home advisor. I hired them for my first deep clean and it went really well. They completed my entire 2200 sq ft home in 2 and half hours for a deep clean. So I thought great and hired them again. Second time two single rooms got partially completed. I tried to address my concerns but the minute I paid they got blown off. But given my first positive experience, I decided to give them another chance. WORST MISTAKE I EVER MADE!! They had 4 hours for a deep clean and I CLEARLY stated I didn't care if they went over the time. I just wanted the clean to be fully completed. I received a call when they were 'done' and the woman told me the whole house got completed. I came home to find that was an absolute lie. There were rooms that hadn't even been touched. Nothing included in a deep clean was actually done. To make matters worse, I didn't have the option of scheduling a regular clean. I was required to schedule a deep clean at the higher rate. Something about ill be allowed to schedule a regular clean next time. So obviously after scheduling this last clean specifically to correct what was not completed the last time, I'm more than a little upset. Therefore, I spoke with Kyle, the owner. He is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever encountered. He does NOT care about his customers. The only thing he cared about was if I was going to pay. We communicated through email for 2 days and not once did he try to address my concerns or offer a solution to fix them. Not even a simple offer to make sure next time the whole clean is completed and correctly. Nothing. Then to top it off, they charged a debit card I had used months ago with them. They did so without my permission. I also never gave them permission to store my card. I authorized a single one time payment months ago. They took it upon themselves to store my card information and charge my card without my permission. Do yourself a favor and steer very far away from them!! read more
