My only complaint is with the items behind the glass, it's hard to see the prices, and even harder to get an employee's attention. There's a call button, but no one seems to respond; I've pressed it three times with no luck. I usually just take a photo and ask about it at the front desk when I remember.

I did find a pair of grey ones and loved them. I vowed that when I was back in the States, I'd get another pair. My next trip ended up being Nashville. On my first full day, I went to the closest Kohl's from where I was staying. I found these shorts in various colours, but none of them were in my size. Ugh! The greater Nashville area has three Kohl's. I went to the second-closest one, which is this one. The parking lot had plenty of parking. I pulled into a spot and walked in. I eventually found the shorts that I loved. They were in my size. I ended up getting them in blue and green. There always seems to be a sale happening at Kohl's. I like the merchandise that it offers and deals that make me happy. I landed a pair of lightweight jean joggers. This pandemic has switched me over to Joggers. Finding the right inseam can be a challenge for me with them. These fit so nicely that I got them. I didn't realize that Squishmallows are available at Kohl's until this trip. I saw a small strawberry one. I oddly didn't have any strawberry plushies in my collection until I bought one here. This store also had Squishville -- smaller versions of Squishmallows. This store is cool. I saw new Caboodles carriers, which threw me back to being in high school and seeing them in Teen magazine. Instead, I saw them right before me. I'm glad that the company is still in business. Kipling bags are also available at Kohl's. Wow! This store had smaller ones in cheerful colours. I came to Nashville without a pair of sunglasses. It was hot and humid. The sun was out practically every day, with the odd day for a thunderstorm. I got a nice pair of sunglasses here and loved them so much. They were 50% off. I wore them every day to protect my eyes, look like a mysterious tourist, and keep my hair away from my face when they became a hairband when I was indoors. Staff here were nice. A woman helped me cash out. I got deals scanned through the Kohl's app, which I highly recommend using. You do save a ton of money at this store. I saved far more than I had spent. It's a good store. This is my local Target, but it's also my favorite among the several locations I've visited. The…read morestore is kept rather clean and the associates are generally friendly and helpful. I've never had an issue with items being out of stock or the store offering too low a selection. I don't do my grocery shopping at Target, as I find their prices to be more expensive than most other grocery stores (and Walmart), but some things I will hit up Target for include beauty products, home decor, and some tech products... quality and selection for these items always seem to be much better than the aforementioned stores.

Ventured to ThriftSmart to donate a few containers of clothes and shoes, and initially had no…read moreintention of shopping, but once I looked around, I had to make a lap through this place! Situated alongside Planet Fitness in an older shopping center on Nolensville Pike, ThriftSmart is a solid spot that is doing good things for the Nashville community! I initially found TS due to their partnership with a local organization, so donating to them was very important and purposeful. The donation process is standard and easy. Pull up, grab a cart, dump your goods and go on about your day. All the donation carts were full when I arrived, which is a good problem, so I got a standard buggy and wheeled my stuff in, then dumped in the large wire bins. Once I was done, I parked and then hit the aisles. The variety of goods that they have is amazing, and the prices are excellent. The place was very busy for a Monday afternoon, and they had plenty of associates and volunteers on the floor and at the registers. Overall, big fan of ThriftSmart and the impact they make to the local community. Worthwhile to stop in out of need or curiosity for sure!
