When he called Haddon Oral Surgeons, they got him an appointment for the very next day. The waiting room at Haddon Oral Surgeons is small, but offers free wifi and a tv for those waiting. When his tooth was pulled I was invited to sit in the back with him. One of the employees came over to give us the post op run down. She was so kind and beyond helpful. Additionally, all of the other staff that either of us interacted with were great. The office even has a back door exit for patients so they don't have to parade through the lobby post opp.

The biggest issue is that Dr Garrin was using a company that he had never used and didn't know how to perform the surgery. As a result, my implants werent done correctly. I woke up in the middle of my surgery. This wouldn't have happened if I were being monitored by a Registered Nurse with ACLS and conscious sedation training. I can't state absolutely that the person who was required to monitor me wasn't an RN or ACLS-certified. Because I never got an answer from her. When I woke up in the middle of my surgery, there were 2 "other people" in the room during the surgery. These "other people" were reps from the "new company". They were teaching Dr. Garrin how to perform the procedure. I heard most of their conversations. I was never informed that this was new, nor was I advised that anyone else would be in the room with me. Not surprisingly, when I woke up, the "other people" were nowhere to be found! If I hadn't woken up DURING the procedure, I would never known that this was Dr. Garrin's first time doing this procedure and he was being trained, nor would I have known that there were 2 other people involved in my surgery. This is absolutely not in accordance with informed consent. The prosthdontist had to redo all the abutments. Yet they took me to small claims court for not paying them 1200$. As many other people commented, the judge knew his representatives well-sounds pretty suspicious! The judge wasnt interested in the fact that my surgery wasn't done properly; all he saw was an outstanding balance Both my children and I had used him in the past without issue (aside from the nasty lady at the front desk). I would suggest to anyone else to proceed with caution and ask questions..

Then the second visit the "Dr." attempted to insert my IV. OMG what a nightmare, after about ten attempts she was trying to insert the needle into my foot. Like what doctor can't insert an IV. An I had to be the one to blame, she said my past drug use was the issue, if that was true why did her medical assistant get the IV in on her first attempt. "Dr." Cyndi I'd completely unethical and unprofessional. She made comments like oh your so lucky your alive after doing so many drugs. Her dental hygienist tried to relate to me with stories of how she dated a heroin kingpin. Like WTF, the "Dr," Cyndi had the audacity to let me know I wouldn't be able to been seen by her again. (Heriditary) Truly not funny and a major problem as I was told...with an expensive solution. Even though I have no dental insurance, it will be worth every penny. He will be doing surgical intervention on my son in January on his canines. When I first went to the office yesterday, he was very friendly, had his green scrubs on and sneakers (that were worn - must be a jogger & was very muscular - must work out). Great manner about him, was awesome to Nick. His confident attitude put me at ease. Staff was very nice and professional. I'm worried about the procedure but i do have faith in Dr. Porter & believe it will all turn out okay. I did find out the culprit who passed it on to my son....of course I wanted to blame my ex (his dad) ha! but it came from my mom (my son's grandma). thankfully he loves her to pieces.....maybe she'll pay for it too!

Besides the latter, the experience I had at the Moorestown office was exceptionally great. The staff, every single one of them - from beginning to end were attentive and just generally good human beings. When going to sleep, I had two nurses take care of me and before I knew it, I was in a sideroom comfortably waking up. The worked with me on pricing using my Aetna Dental Savings card and gave me remedial recommendations throughout. Again, just generally good human beings doing their thing. No pain really, from 4 wisdom teeth removed, this is day 3. Much appreciated! Dr Salman was my doctor.

Dr. Kurtz was amazing!! She was very thorough and I felt nothing. I agree the wait time previously mentioned can be frustrating. But I think it should be noted that when you sit down for a procedure it's not guaranteed that it will be performed to completion at the time initially offered. The dentist isn't really a mind reader. They can tell you it will take a recommended amount of time, considered all things run smoothly and no adverse things occur. But I'm thankful for her expertise and will go back to her if needed in the future.

At our follow up appointment with our regular dentist, we discovered the endodontist worked on the wrong tooth! Yup, she performed a root canal on a perfectly healthy tooth! Neglected the other tooth and by the time we got her back in there to do the tooth that needed work it was too late to save it. Fast forward, here we are again referred to get a root canal retreat on a front tooth. After months of waiting for appointment for consult, they insisted dentist needed to remove cap in order to redo root canal. Back to dentist we go. Dentist insists there's no need, it would cost us out of pocket expenses ($700-) for new cap and that endo can do procedure through back of tooth without interruption to cap. Back to Endo, who proceeds to give attitude and give worry that it will crack and then she will have no tooth. We decide to proceed and take our chances. Surprise, they could do the procedure without ruining the cap! We waited over an hour to get called back. The hygienist/assistant was so nice and helped calm my daughter's angst. She said procedure should be 20-25 min. Endo comes in, daughter asked couple questions of what to expect, mentioning the assistants quote of 20-25 min timeline. He snapped and cockily said "no, if she thinks she can do it in that time then SHE can do the procedure herself". I had to bite my tongue, as I didn't want to give him reason to take it out on my daughter. More attitude. The guy is an arrogant jerk. Her dentist cannot do follow up to finish filling now until they send x-ray for them to submit to insurance co. It's been a week, and I have called numerous times... no answer. This place is a joke and unprofessional. If there are other options in your insurance network- go somewhere else.

This was a marked contrast from other offices that dismissed my concerns. They have great hygienists who do a thorough job. The dentists are personable and really good at what they do! When I've had to get cavities worked on they make me really comfortable (podcasts & a blanket!) and they're excellent at delivering Novocain so that you barely feel the needle. I'm a wimp, so this is important. They always do cancer screenings and keep my best interest at heart. I appreciate having such a great dentist!

Although they DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE they will submit all necessary paperwork to your dental insurance so you can receive (some) reimbursement as long as you provide them with your insurance information. After years of neglect and inspite of never having had a cavity, my teeth started to fail. After…read morelosing three, with more loosening daily, I knew I wanted implants and decided on Clear Choice Mt Laurel. The initial consultation was very thorough and I was able to meet what would become my care team. Seeing the CT scan, we all felt it best to pull the remaining teeth, deal with any infections, get bone graphs, and full upper and lower implants. I felt absolutely no pressure to go with any specific option (3 were available). At that same visit, I arranged financing, chose my teeth color and scheduled surgery for three weeks out. Due to increasing pain levels I requested that surgery be moved up a week and they were able to accommodate me. Day of surgery I was very nervous and they took the time to ensure I was ok before starting. Went out like a light from the anesthesia and woke up pleasantly numb. I was taken to a recovery room where I promptly fell asleep once again. Before I knew it, I was woken up to have my healer implants put in (yes, I walked out with a full set of teeth). Post surgery, day one the swelling started, and then the bruising but I had no pain other than the cuts at the corners of my mouth. I am now 8 days post surgery. No more swelling, just a small bruise on my chin and I can smile again. The implants did take getting used to as my bite is now corrected, but even that is a minor inconvenience.
