As many others have noted, the staff in the office are incredibly rude. I don't really care about the office employees disposition-thats up to the office manager. The biggest issue is that Dr Garrin was using a company that he had never used and didn't know how to perform the surgery. As a result, my implants werent done correctly. I woke up in the middle of my surgery. This wouldn't have happened if I were being monitored by a Registered Nurse with ACLS and conscious sedation training. I can't state absolutely that the person who was required to monitor me wasn't an RN or ACLS-certified. Because I never got an answer from her. When I woke up in the middle of my surgery, there were 2 "other people" in the room during the surgery. These "other people" were reps from the "new company". They were teaching Dr. Garrin how to perform the procedure. I heard most of their conversations. I was never informed that this was new, nor was I advised that anyone else would be in the room with me. Not surprisingly, when I woke up, the "other people" were nowhere to be found! If I hadn't woken up DURING the procedure, I would never known that this was Dr. Garrin's first time doing this procedure and he was being trained, nor would I have known that there were 2 other people involved in my surgery. This is absolutely not in accordance with informed consent. The prosthdontist had to redo all the abutments. Yet they took me to small claims court for not paying them 1200$. As many other people commented, the judge knew his representatives well-sounds pretty suspicious! The judge wasnt interested in the fact that my surgery wasn't done properly; all he saw was an outstanding balance Both my children and I had used him in the past without issue (aside from the nasty lady at the front desk). I am very lucky to have Doctor Sandy Ha helping me with the recent oral surgery, bone graft, and more. Besides being exemplary with her work, she is extremely caring, patient, supportive, and friendly. I could tell that she cares about her patients a lot. She was so good that I didn't feel anything when she insert the IV to draw my blood and administer anesthesia (I have small veins so I usually had to get poked and dealt with pain a few times before). I felt at ease and worry free under her care. Her staffs are extremely nice too. She is new at the practice but I have no doubt that her name will be in "The top oral surgeon" soon! Procedure: Wisdom teeth removal(4 teeth). If you're worried about it, don't be. Be prepared to have a driver as well. Rough time estimate ~40-60 mins What to expect before and after: - Arrive 15 mins early with papers signed and filled out digitally beforehand - expect to be kinda out of it afterwards if you get anesthesia. Hard to think straight so have someone trusted to help you get discharged - I was in pain on the 20 min drive home with uncomfortable gauze but pain went away after I took the prescribed meds and a nap. How my visit went: - short wait time for getting called and waiting for doctor - quick and easy x-ray - 1 male surgeon and 2 women nurses - All were very nice, quick, and efficient - doctor gave me a rundown - I felt safe as a woman being sedated with the other nurses there Insurance: Everything went as expected financially. I saw Dr Litman after being referred by my primary dentist for a spot on my palate. I was hesitant to make the appt for a couple of reasons but after reading reviews and what not I did it. I left work early and drive 45 minutes or so. He was the most uncaring dentist. I would never recommend him for anything. POST SCRIPT - Dr. Steve Garin called my cell phone personally to scream and berate me for leaving his office the following feedback. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would...disgusted parent, here. We booked an extraction for my special needs teen daughter based on the referral from her dentist. We were told that since no infection was present, no anesthesia would be needed unless we wanted to pay an additional $600 for the luxury of it. My wife and I declined and prepped my daughter for the day and she was ready. We get there, and we very specifically reiterate what it is we decided on, and again, we were told "it's just an option!" Then the nurses and surgeon comes in, daughter flat on her back in the chair, and they all commune AROUND her while aggressively selling me that its SUCH a traumatic experience and I should WANT for my kid to have a peaceful exerience and why not just spend the money - IN FRONT OF HER'; Both finance and parent shaming of the highest accord! My daughter starts to get upset and I request that the conversation continue in the hall. I WAS STILL TOLD it was our choice and I said "We are either going to move forward with her surgery or we are going to leave." The surgeon pulled back and said, "Okay but if she suffers discomfort, I am stopping the surgery." I immediately texted my wife and told her, "Expect that this is not going to happen today because we are being set up for failure, here..." I hate being right. Sure enough, in mere minutes, the nurse was back out saying, "Yeah she was uncomfortable so we stopped. Reschedule and do so when you can AFFORD the optional anesthesia." I was left gobsmacked. Now, my daughter is in tears, ande I am doing everything in my power to maintain my composure and leave like a gentleman. On the way out, their secretary says snarkily, "It looks like there was a leftover co-pay from a procedure YOU had here, 15 years ago...do you wanna settle that up?" That was it - I told them that the whole morning was a clinic in dealing with tone-deaf, insensitive, bait-and-switchers and we would be finishing the procedure with another surgeon. They love their third party commissions, over there. More than they value human relationships. People are just wallets walking into their office in a high-tax bracket community to them, and it shows. ...I bet if I handed an Amex Black card to the them and let them con me into add-ons, they would have shown a different EQ. The type of care involved four extractions related to the need to be infection-free before cardiac valve replacement. I was impressed with the skill, experience, affable manner that put me at ease, and swift process. All four teeth were removed with only novocaine as a pain number because I am a heart patient. The doctor was superb, and I recommend this practice to patients with insurance and ordinary care. However, I am giving this practice two stars not 5, because the excellent medical care does not compensate for the administrative staff's actions. I explained that there was a Medicare rule change that took effect in January 2024 through which these extractions could be covered by Medicare A and B when intrinsically connected to the medical procedure in question - namely, cardiac valve replacement. I asked that the letter from the cardiologist coordinate the need with the oral surgeon - an interprofessional procedure - but I was ignored. I emailed detailed information about the rule change, which was ignored. The meaning of "dental clearance" changed based on the rule change. I do not expect physicians, whether in dentistry, oral surgery or cardiology, to stay current but I did expect the front desk staff to be helpful and to discuss with the benefits coordinator. This did not happen, and I do hold them responsible for the fact the Medicare bill (if it was submitted at all) did not include the code CMS indicated was required. This was at considerable expense that might have covered the cost of other dental infections/caries prior to the cardiac valve replacement. This was a very uplifting experience as far as the oral surgeon goes, but the administrative staff was unacceptable. I will not return for other work as I had intended for that reason. read more

Needed to have two teeth removed and was unsure of how things were going to go. The hygienist and oral surgeon were phenomenal in how straightforward and quick the procedure was. They provided very good instructions for after the surgery and how to make sure it heals well. So glad I went here as it was a good price after insurance. Recommend this place. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! While the expertise of the surgeon was fine the billing practices and office staff are absolutely horrendous. I had a very small biopsy done on my tongue at the request of my dentist in February of 2023. I was told by them that medicare and my supplemental insurance would cover the procedure. Come to find out over a year later that they tried to bill my supplemental insurance as dental insurance under a false number and of course were denied. They never billed medicare as they were supposed to and because they did not file within the yearly time frame they were again denied when they FINALLY did bill. Now I have been threatened with being sent to collections. I am paying the bill off monthly however I would strongly advise anybody considering using the practice to go elsewhere. I just recently had 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, I went to the Marlton office for surgery. To start, they do not schedule you for a separate 10 minute $100 consultation like most other oral surgeons do. They do the consultation right before your removal, which was excellent and made sense. This office made the surgery as quick and painless as possible for me. I was nervous going into the surgery but the office staff from the waiting room to the surgery room were extremely kind and professional. Dr. Garin was very personable and informative. I am on day 9 now and can say my recovery has been pretty fast. I can't recommend this office enough! read more

Let me just say, the dentist are wonderful but the older lady who sits at the front desk needs to change her attitude. So rude and cocky it makes me not want to go back! And it's not the first time she was cocky with me. I see her get cocky with other patients who are trying to check in! How can you treat people that you don't know with disrespect? I needs to retire or find another job that doesn't involve being face to face with people. She is definitely NOT a people person and I'm not sure why she's still working there. Don't go to them!!!! Dr is good but they will screw you with billing. They overcharge you and will not give you a refund. I have been calling them for the past 6 months asking for my refund, they acknowledge that they owe me money but are not sending me a check (they don't do credit card refund) they are very rude!!! read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. They are practicing fraud here. They overcharged me, harassed me over mail and phone for 2-3 years after having my wisdom teeth removed, and finally took me to small claims court over $300 that my insurance assured me I did not owe. They dropped the case without letting me know, and I wasted a day off from work for their inconsiderate fraudulent practices. The judge recognized their legal representative on sight as they are apparently frequent litigators. I was not the only defendant present against Haddon Oral surgeons on this day. Can only imagine how many they take to court. I'm sure there are many who would simply pay the bill to avoid the trouble and I guess that's how they make their money. Only a matter of time before they have a class action suit against them for robbing people. Read the reviews before you go here, you will be overcharged or mischarged and then harassed daily for their billing issues. I suspect any positive reviews for this place are fraudulent as well, given their shady practices. read more

My Dad recently had a broken tooth that needed to be removed. He called a few local Oral Surgeons who were unable to schedule him anytime soon. When he called Haddon Oral Surgeons, they got him an appointment for the very next day. The waiting room at Haddon Oral Surgeons is small, but offers free wifi and a tv for those waiting. When his tooth was pulled I was invited to sit in the back with him. One of the employees came over to give us the post op run down. She was so kind and beyond helpful. Additionally, all of the other staff that either of us interacted with were great. The office even has a back door exit for patients so they don't have to parade through the lobby post opp. read more

I cannot say enough about how great this practice is! After getting the runaround at another place and having my husband's surgery cancelled twice we stopped in to make an appointment. The ladies behind the desk could not have been more helpful. They were able to do his surgery that same day so that we didn't have to make the 2 hour round trip to come back. FRAUDULENT BILLING PRACTICES---THE WORST! Office has NO customer service what so ever. Jennifer in billing is rude and does not have any bed side manner - does not wish to explain or hear patients. Coming from experience, my son had wisdom surgery in 2021. Doctor Stephen Garin of Haddon Oral Surgeons in Medford billed insurance close to a year after service. They send a bill that we owe over $600.00 for service. I contacted my insurance and they shared the office billed incorrectly. How convenient for them to wait a year to bill. I was told that my financial obligation was fulfilled at the time of service. Office stated they had received prior authorization and the insurance has approved service - close to a year later they decide - we owed them over $600. The office was fraudulent - added excessive charges for items that were not rendered (additional anesthesia hours etc...). After years of trying to resolve these charges- they decide they want to sue- for their negligence! After securing a lawyer - we find out that they are making a day of it - taking former patients to court. HINT- if your entire office turns over several times a year - it is a clear indication that there is something gravely wrong! Medical billing fraud is criminal and taking patients to court to sue because you want to be lazy and not be proactive and diligent when billing with insurances will catch up to you! Overcharge for time under sedation! Be careful to check the exact time the patient goes into the office until the staff is done monitoring them after sedation. My son was under sedation and monitoring for under 20 minutes (I know this because I texted my husband at start and finish since we were both nervous about the procedure). The insurance company and I were billed for additional time that the staff did not record correctly (of course), and now I have a large bill to pay that is way over their original estimate for my copay. read more

i had an appointment earlier this year and will never go back again. the woman at the front window who sits on the left was extremely nasty to me because i refused to give my social security number. If any doctors office says they need your ss number, i would find another doctor. my insurance card had all the information she needed for payment and the office was paid through insurance. i don't understand how she is still employed there. it was very humiliating in front of other patients. I don't want my social security number being floated out in front of other people's eyes . IMO, no patients should ever be treated like that. extremely uncalled for. I had such a great experience here yesterday when I got my wisdom teeth out. Dr. Garin did a great job of easing my anxieties and making sure I completely understood what was happening and that I was ready for the procedure. I had a wonderful experience with Haddon Oral Suregons for my wisdom teeth removal. All of the staff members were helpful and kind. I had called multiple times before my appointment with questions regarding pricing and procedures. The staff happily answered all of my questions and were very informative. I was scheduled quickly and effortlessly. The office called me the day before my appointment to inform me of out of pocket costs and reminders. The day of the surgery couldn't have gone smoother. Once again the staff was kind and welcoming. Dr. Garin was also very friendly. He was able to calm my nerves by talking with me and explaining the procedure in easy to understand terms.
