My husband and myself have never been in his office and felt like he didn't want to see us or had to rush out because his life is so busy. As for the quality of work he does... it is phenomenal! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to see my husband with straight legs and feeling 20 years younger. Had he not gone in and gotten those knees of his replaced when he did, he would have been in a wheelchair within the next few years. I can't even remember anymore, how bad both his legs were from his arthritis. To give a shout out to my husband, he took his part of taking care of his new knee replacements very seriously. Within 9 days of both surgeries he was back to work. I think he thinks he's Superman. He is a great testimony to the work Dr.O'Shea does...if the patient steps up and follows through by doing their part after the surgery. Then there is Lisa, his fabulous assistant. Another great person with a wonderful polite bedside manner. My husband and I are as comfortable seeing her as we are seeing Dr. O'Shea for injection's and post op procedures. What a team the two of them must make doing surgery. Sometime in the future, I too am going to need new knees. You cannot know the comfort I have in knowing at that time I will be very well taken care by a fabulous doctor and his assistant Lisa. Lori

I'm still trying to return the boot since disclosure attached to the email does not indicate the 7 day return policy. Update: They did take back the boot for a full refund. .

So I selected a Rebound orthopod and met with the PA for the surgeon I selected. That initial meeting was thin on substance but generally satisfactory. A CT was ordered and completed 2 weeks ago. And then silence. I called Rebound 5 days ago requesting a call back and ... more silence. I have an excellent relationship with the Legacy system and its providers, a relationship that is based on communication and mutual respect. Perhaps the Legacy system sets too high a bar or perhaps Rebound is just a very large corporate ortho mill where patient communication is considered more trouble than it is worth.

Dr. Mesnier is supposed to be a good ankle surgeon and I have been trying to get an appointment since March 2025. Despite a physician referrral, good insurance, an increasingly unstable painful ankle I can barely walk on, an MRI with ligament and tendon tears, and filling out all the online paperwork, I have yet to see her. It's August. Her office cancelled my first two new patient appointments with short notice. Christina hasn't requested my records or MRI scan, even though I filled out and signed a request with my new patient paperwork. Yesterday I asked if she'd received my imaging and she said "No, I haven't requested it because it takes a really long time for them to send it, so it's the patient's responsibility." I told her I have to cancel and reschedule a half day of my own cancer patients for these appointments they keep cancelling, and asked if she could make my appt on a day when that won't happen. Her reply: "It's not my fault if patients need surgery". Nice. It doesn't seem like they want my business, so I guess it's not my fault if I go somewhere else. Dr. Mesnier probably doesn't know this is happening, and unfortunately this review is the only way to communicate with her. I will happily update it and the rating if I end up seeing her and having a good experience!

The skilled and friendly staff throughout the visit made me feel like I was not a burden, but rather a valued parr of the care team during the time I received my exceptional care. If you have a problem with pain from trauma or chronic disease, this is my best recommendation: go see an expert at Rebound!

With advance…read morearrangements Rebound does some charity care and helped a young man I know collecting only $500 in advance for what was a significant surgery bill to implant a pin in a broken bone. Likewise Peace Health does some charity care, but both depend on your actual financial situation. It is far easier with any doctor to get care with health insurance. Also with Worker's Compensation, no provider can know with certainty without either a contract with the insurer or pre-authorization for non-emergency care that payment will be made. Take for example one case I am 3rd party familiar with an outside salesman was found dead and robbed in a room he had sex with a prostitute in and that was not deemed work related. On the other hand if the injury is on the job site and was witnessed it is pretty clear cut. Health insurance acts as temporary backup in the cases of not yet admitted claims. I have no complaints about the care I have gotten from Rebound. It is hard to evaluate an entire practice when I have only seen a few doctors in it, but Rebound is the premier location for sports injuries in the Portland Metro Area.

I did not believe that, I've always seen myself walking. I saw him in person the following week and he suggested cutting all my toes off and using that flesh to close the wound. He didn't like the fact that I ignored his bad advice, he wanted to do a surgery where he goes in to clean my foot but also amputate if he sees anything, I did not agree to the amputation so when I was preop I had him cross out that part on the paperwork so it would be only a cleaning and he did not like that very much and threatened to drop me as a patient, I dropped him as a doctor thank God. I stopped going to rebound altogether, I ended up going to wound care and getting hyperbaric oxygen therapy and my flesh healed over the tendons within six months. He didn't suggest anything like that that would help me. So glad I trusted my gut and stopped going to this place. If I would have listened to his advice I wouldn't have a foot right now.
