This is a really cute restaurant! We went at an off-hour, so it wasn't crowded, but they have a rooftop area that opens in the evening & it looked like a nice place to have a drink. Downstairs is roomy, with beautiful travertine tables. The waiters were friendly. We ordered a bottle of wine, but after tasting it, it was obvious that it had turned, and told the waiter. They didn't give us any trouble over it & gave us a replacement.
The appetizers were very good; my wife had a rack of goat chops(!!!), which were pretty good, but my main course was a fail--I ordered beef picanha & I told the waiter I wanted it rare. I actually emphasized I wanted it bloody. It arrived super-well-done. Since I had sent back the wine, I didn't want to be "that guy" and send the meat back too, but I did tell the second waiter that the first waiter really dropped the ball.
I think we will give them a second chance, and I hope they get it right...but we'll see. read more
