It used to be very good and can be if they just maintain the car wash equipment Recommend ahold this place there are plenty of other car washes in town the maintain their equipment and give a great wash

To say I was disappointed would be a major understatement. My car was overdue for a wash, but my…read moreson was begging to go through the car wash so I found this place to be convenient. As we arrived, there was no one else there at all, so we drove right up to the window. I wasn't greeted, instead just handed a clipboard to choose which wash package I wanted. I believe my total was around $20. When I pulled around to head into the washing station, three employees walked out with brushes to "scrub" my windshield. Scrub isn't the right word, they just threw water on it. As we were in the actual car wash, I noticed the brushes and other equipment (sorry, I don't know the accurate verbiage) were barely touching my car. We were at the other end in a quick minute and I did not have a good feeling about it, given how quickly we were out of there, how little soap was used, and how the equipment barely brushed my car. Sure enough, yep - I got out to fix my mirrors so took a quick look. My wheels were not cleaned whatsoever, the entire front and back still had dirt and grime, and there were obvious spots that were missed. Luckily I had napkins in my car to wipe some of the areas off while water was still present. I did not expect an immaculate wash, but I did expect all of my car to get touched - at least rinsed. All in all, so very disappointed in this place. I can't believe I wasted my money.

Alan could tell that I goofed as the car was still dripping wet upon my exit so he offered to have me go through again. He said I didn't have to pay but I did anyway because it was MY mistake. Anyway, despite the crowd and the heat both men were great and are an asset to this company! And ... my filthy car is clean clean clean again!

That said, I only did subscribe just for 1 month..mostly just to try it out. The thing I liked about them was that there had many branches and locations that you could bring your car in. But..the cons are just that locations vary quite a lot in terms of the quality of service. Plus, the other thing is, you'd still feel compelled to tip for each wash on top of the subscription that you already pay...so over the long haul..the fact that you would try to go in very often to make the most use of your subscription along with more money spent on subscription/tip...didn't really make it as worth it for me. You experiences may vary. They washes were ok. They helped make my car look a little better..but it's not like very shiny out of the wash either.

I finally decided that I was going to get it cleaned by a professional. They have a service, interior super clean, that focuses on vents, dust, sand, etc. It cost $48 but I needed it. The waiting area was nice. There are seats, a little convenient-store-like setup so I could buy snacks or air fresheners. No one inside greeted me but the guys outside were nice. At the end one even told me they have a shuttle service for detailing so that I don't wait in the future (I wish someone inside had said something like that). When I was shown my car there were some spots that still had sand remanence. Obvious spots. They cleaned that on the spot. I was happy! I thought they got all the sand out. However, three days later I hit a bump in the road and sand shot out of my vents. They said they used a shop-vacuum to get all the sand out, but it doesn't seem they went all the way. My car looked good for a few days. I went a few days without sand. The price was a little high. I wish I had been told I didn't have to sit and wait 45 minutes before hand, but they did the job.

Compared to Mister car wash these guys are so much better not only from value but to quality as well. These guys take their time and do a quality job. The one pet peeve I have is rushed service with bad quality. That was what turned me away from mister car wash about a year and a half ago. Rain Tunnel is definitely a site for soar eyes. They vacuumed my vehicle and dried her up and got her looking good! I got "the best" wash which is their best wash. It's full service where they will vacuum, wipe down your dash, dry up your vehicle, and shine your tires. At $25 it's the best deal in town! I've yet to see a comparable car wash that goes above and beyond like these guys to give you the best bang for your buck.
