In those two…read moreyears, I have spent nearly $2,000 dollars, most of that money going down a black hole as dealers and other smaller businesses charged me upward of $500 a pop each time I brought my car in. For under $400, this business diagnosed the problem, got the part, fixed the issue and sent me on my way in less than forty-eight hours. The difference was they told me straight out what my issues were by the diagnostic number--no imperious patronizing, thank you--advised what parts were needed and treated me as if I, as a single woman, were capable of understanding the mechanism causing the problem. The waiting area is clean and comfortable if you have to wait while they work on your car. I can't say enough good things about this small, family business except to say they've been in business for over thirty years. Their treatment of me is the reason why. I highly recommend these folks. They are good, honest people!

They held my truck for nearly 2 months without touching it. I was told the parts I purchased would be returned to me as well as the "damaged radiator " which didn't leak was given one half the size of the previous radiator and charged an additional $400 . No parts were returned and now it runs worse than before. They don't answer the phones and I was a customer for nearly 10 years but I will no longer be.

I was fearing it would be a major transmission problem because you couldn't put it into gear and it's an automatic. They worked on my Kia Forte and found the problem on Monday.If I hadn't had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I could've picked it up. Instead, I picked it up this morning Wednesday. They did a great job. It was not a major transmission problem.. It was a small problem, they know I don't have a ton of money so the part I needed was a shift knob. They checked with the Kia Dealer and Auto Parts Stores but it would've been a lot more expensive. Instead, they found a place locally where they could get a used one and install that and it has a 30 day warranty. I'm sure it will last longer than that. Great deal at $299. I also learned today they have a mobile unit and it's Big. I thought it had a race car in it. I took a picture and added it here. If you can't come in, for a little bit of a premium, they can come to you and do some repairs right at your home. I'm not sure which repairs but they will be able to help you. I picked up an older car which I was going to be driving cross country and took it here for evaluation which needed to be done essentially immediately. *My* experience: I had gone to another tire place which recommended replacing only 2 of the 4 tires (which had chunks of rubber de-laminating). Consumer Car Care (CCC) showed me where all 4 of the 10+ year old tires were in bad shape, and sold me 4 highly rated (per Consumer Reports) Kumho tires at the same price the other outfit wanted for 2 Michelins. I really don't need the more expensive brand name. This saved me not just serious $$, but also saved me from a probable blow out. Second, they could have recommended a lot more work than they did. They only changed out the 10+ year coolant and did an oil change. For a car this age which was not religiously maintained, recommending changing out the brake fluid, transmission fluid, belts, and hoses would not have been unreasonable. They checked all of the above and rather than taking a quick profit from someone they were never going to see again, they were honest. 5 months later, no problems. Based on my experience I would highly recommend CCC, trusting both their recommendations and quality of work.

The car was returned to us and stalled out less than a mile from the shop. After working on it and test driving it. The shop determined it was the new fuel injector they were pushing the caused gunk to clog the engine. Now, on 7/27, the brand new wiper blades flew off the car while driving around town. I hate to have to say this but not at all what was expected after spending over $1500 there. We've used the shop in the past and have always been happy with them. This is not the standard of service expected from the Mavis brand.
